Maybe they are announcing the NBC special. And if that is the case maybe they will do so with a trailer. And if that is the case maybe we will hear a little bit of new music in that trailer. And if that is the case maybe aliens will also hear that new music and get so excited that they finally land on earth. And if that is the case maybe one of those aliens will become my new best friend. And if that is the case next Monday is gonna be awesome!

Definitely the video. We've known it's almost here for a while now.

NBC special would make sense, since Monday is also Chris' last episode on The Voice which is an NBC show. So announcing it at a time when most Coldplay/music fans are watching seems reasonable.

2009 - by the time the 19 Sep 2009 arrives, babybeeburns has been cooking for 6.5 months.

late 2011 - Coldplay announce stadium tour dates. Ian & Jen buy tickets for June 2012

2012 - 9 June 2012 arrives, babybeeburns mark 2 has been cooking for 5 months

Austin City Limits Festival lineup still to be announced, but I don't know if they would perform having just done SXSW

 

In addition, Boston Calling Music Festival in Boston still says their SEPTEMBER lineup will be announced in 3 weeks time. the fest takes place September 5-7.

The price of touring for a rock band or whatever is really fairly high and very few tours really make huge amounts of cash, except for the very top tier of artists.
