Nailed it. I am of the rare species. I grew up in Naples, Florida, which is literally straight across from Miami on the West Coast of Florida. Die hard Panthers fan.

I live about 2 hours from St Louis. I'm from Chicago though, so being a Hawks fan is a birth right. As for the awkwardness, I wore my Kane jersey with pride every chance I got.

Hey! I gotta say that although I would stick with the leafs normally- even though they are absolutely horrible, I am silently cheering for the habs. But I'm pretty sure that Boston will win the series. I still think LA has a good shot of winning the cup, and Pittsburg is still always at the back of my mind.

 

On the subject of PK Subban, I saw him a while ago as a guest chair umpire for a friendly tennis match at the Rogers Cup- very nice guy, nice to see that he is doing well with the habs.

But we made the playoffs 2 seasons ago, and gave the Cup finalists a run for their money (NJD) took them to double OT game 7 before we lost :(. HEARTBREAKING. I was up at 1am, needing to work in a few hours, and then Adam Henrique scores 5 hole on Theodore (who played outstanding), like a few minutes into 2OT. I was crushed.

 

Tallon is just doing what any GM really would. All GMs should at least listen to offers. If Edmonton offers up something like Nail Yakupov, I think I'd probably take that. It'd take a guy like that to make it happen.

San Jose wins against Los Angeles last night, 2-1 series there, and Boston is coming back to tie the series at 2-2 with Montreal. Boston doesn't miss Seguin.

As a fan with their team out of the playoffs, which series are you ppl following? I've grown tired on Crosby-mania and have no interest in either Cali teams but think CHI and BOS are gonna be finalists so I follow those series more.

I didn't mind Carlyle tbh, a 2 year isn't so bad plus theres a team option after the first year IIRC. You on HF too?

I picked Montreal and LA from the start and I'm sticking with them.. but WTF can't believe we lost to France today haha
