Revolverwin
Ghost Stories spends a 3rd week at #2 in the UK with 48,361 copies. Here is the breakdown of the sales in the UK after a month. 1st week 1 - 168,048 (=) 2nd week 2 - 75,032 (-55,3%) 3rd week 2 - 46,315 (-38,2%) 4th week 2 - 48,361 (+5,4%) So far, it's the top selling album of the year and has already been certified platinum. Good to hear about the sales update. Coldplay won't rust even though the album is pretty "low key" sound-wise. Thanks for the update Mackplay :)

Mackplay
Updated OP with sales, US Airplay, streaming etc... Highlights: Magic has crossed the 100M streams on Spotify. It's now one of 61 songs with over 100M streams on Spotify. A Sky Full Of Stars being Platinum on the Mediatraffic chart (over 2M points) A Sky Full Of Stars officially being Coldplay 2nd most popular song on US radio (after Viva La Vida). It will surpass it very soon, probably in a week or 2. I also added a section for True Love.
Coeurli
Thanks Macky :D Really nice to see that with so little promotion, the numbers are still rather impressive!
gai
wow! GS hasn't gone platinum yet in US. with no tour supporting the release any more, the chances of this going platinum seem slim now. with some artists selling more albums than they have done, think this is more of an indication of the decline in popularity for coldplay or album sales in general? i think it is a bit of both combined with reduced promo compared to the last 3 albums. Mackplay
GS hasn't gone platinum yet in US[/url]. with no tour supporting the release any more, the chances of this going platinum seem slim now. with some artists selling more albums than they have done, think this is more of an indication of the decline in popularity for coldplay or album sales in general? i think it is a bit of both combined with reduced promo compared to the last 3 albums. The market is really bad. Ghost Stories is actually the best selling album released in 2014 and still has the best sales week for any albums this year. This will change in November and December as there are big albums to be released soon. So market wise, they are doing great. But you're right, these are low numbers for Coldplay and we can say that it's due to the minimal promo and not touring.
Mackplay
PS: I need to find time to update the numbers. Maybe I'll just post some highlights and wait until we get the year-end numbers and refine everything :laugh3:
