June 11, 201511 yr The story might be true because: 1)Just about everyone in the music business has been cautioned in the same way 2) Chris' early musical influences were questionable in a lot of peoples' eyes and also I think I heard somewhere that he's unable to read music 3) Coldplay as a concept is really hard to describe to people until you hear it (in lieu of providing remote comparisons) He would have been good as a cranky music teacher if he hadn't done music professionally.The Game of Thrones spoof would have actually made a decent musical. He could easily have directed school musicals. But the more current concern is, how can Coldplay stay relevant,not how many ppl might have told them they wouldn't make it. They're putting out good teaser stuff so I don't think they have to worry. P.S. I am faithfully against animal cruelty.
