It's a lot easier to stay motivated if I can have some interaction with the outside world, and since it's Saturday and my regular co-workers on otherwise engaged, can the board help me out?

I tried watching part of Donnie Darko last week, but I caught it half way through and wasn't able to catch up on what was going on. The concept sounds interesting, though I'm not the biggest fan of Jena Malone or Jake Gyllenhaal.

 

Jena Malone makes a somewhat interesting appearance in Cold Mountain, though I'll always remember her from the over-the-top performance in Stepmom.

I really liked it. I don't like it as much as some of the reviews seem to, but it was definitely on of my top handful of movies on the year. Jude Law was great. You've seen it, I take it?

It's been really good. I got a tone done at work today so I'm gliding about with a sense of accomplishment. I'm trying to decide what to do tonight: either call some friends up and do some generic hanging out or maybe go see a movie ...

 

... and then there's always sit around the apartment and do nothing.

I actually didn't have to leave the apartment today until I was finished with work ...

... but as a result I was in my pajamas, sans shower, until about 4pm.

 

Once I was done working, I felt both accomplished and lazy.
