Got a hair-cut today; first time in a year. My stylist took off 4-5 inches.

Yes, my last pair broke. And my prescription has changed since I first got them four years ago. Time for something new. I like the thick plastic frames, and I'm sure I'll be labeled a hipster when i get them. I find it strange that something as mundane as a pair of glasses can greatly affect first impressions.

oh that sucks, but it's a good chance to get new ones. I got mine on the net for 18€ just because I wanted something new (the ones before were a bit smaller....)...I didn't even try them before I got them haha. I took that risk since they were that cheap and my prescription hasn't changed in some years now.

 

You're so right about how it affects the first impressions. Though I think sometimes you can tell if someone is wearing those glasses because they want to be a hipster or because they really like them....kinda interesting...seems to depend on their clichéd hipster style...but most people doN't know about that anyway and that's why they call you a hipster...yeah

yeah I was pretty lucky that they worked out. I could have uploaded a pic on the site where I bought them, but that didn't work anyways since it will never look like it looks in reality. All I knew was that those kind of glasses usually suit me.

Yes, its a german site. I don't think there's any way of getting them in the US unless I can find them in NY. Hopefully I'll be able to find them or something similar.

Well, after I ordered them I noticed that it was a chinese website and then I checked some reviews about the site on the net and most of them were negative....people were saying hey paid their glasses and in they were never delivered....I was really lucky

looks like you lucked out twice!
