We knew that, ( well, we guessed as much )

It didn't irratate our skin then and hasn't affected us yet. :laugh4:

( i'll probably come out tomorrow in a weird rash :disappointed:

^ Well I believe if you only do it a few times it's not bad. As long as you don't bath in it or drink it there shouldn't be any health risks

It's actually not glow stick liquid.

Something slightly less toxic (hi-lighter)

It has Radium on it.

not really... it contains well known toxics such Hydrogen peroxide (corrosive, oxidant) and produces Phenol! (corrosive to eyes & skin, may cause dermatitis, may cause lung edema when inhaled, affects the nervous system... etc), that not even mentioning the "dye" substances that can vary from one glowstick to other...

The effect of glowing comes from a chemoluminiscent reaction. :nice:

it took this from wiki:

oh! you were using fluorescence dyings then... were you using some kind of UV light the make the glowing effect? :D

I found the dyes' structure, each related to a color, but I'm afraid to spam this thread with chemical structures images. :uhoh2:
