ha... i remember i used to buy pokemon cards all the time when i was in middle school. looking back i feel bad i had my parents spend all that money on those cards when all I did was collect them (didn't even have matches against, which i guess is what you're supposed to do w/ them).

HAHA same here. I think I still have all those cards somewhere..

It kind of was. Why do you think it wasn't?

Because it was more than some little kids flipping out, it's like saying anything you loved as a kid was a fad, the games are fucking amazing, I still play them now, loads of people do. It's not a fad it's just a massive franchise and a big happy part of my childhood. It's not comparable to some kids playing Yo-Yos for 2 weeks.

Right, it's a franchise, but the first couple years at least, it was a huge fad. At least in the US. But I've been playing them since I was eight or nine.

That's not a fad though, fads disappear as people get bored of them.

People just grew out of it, they didn't get bored of it.

In fact, I am buying a new Pokémon game on Friday <3

My friend is obsessed with Pokemon  He draws pictures of charizards all over his Spanish notebook. :laugh3: They're pretty good too

What kind of homosexual would buy beanie babies?

This made me laugh. XD

No, I am not.

I am paying for it by selling tricks, pokémon tricks.

Illusion, Nathan. A trick is something a whore does for money.

Or cocaine.
