Guy's Instagram project (Synchro Sunday)

Featured Replies

In case anyone didn't know, Guy is doing a twelve week project on Instagram where he picks an album from his collection and listens to it from start to finish, encouraging his followers to do the same at the same time and comment what they think. @jc90 suggested we could also have a thread here to discuss the albums. This week's pick was Abbey Road by The Beatles and it starts at 8 pm UK time (which is pretty soon).

Cool @Carolina* , sorry, I dont know if this thread will bust or not. But again, I dont have instagram and i dont know how this will work. As another user mentioned, it could be like the stream coldplaying does/used to do. Also, I guess you could post here if Guy replied to your post on instagram or something. I thought there'd be a bit more hype since this is the first of the band who openly has their own social media account. But then again, we are in the off season.

Never actually listened to a Beatles album from beginning to end so this is interesting

I quite like this tbh. Usually I tend to stick to a certain set or list of songs and never really explore outside of it. But maybe once in a while I could check out what Guy recommends and maybe who knows ill find another band or 2 that I like.

I didn't know Richard Hawley before but I'm really enjoying this album so far

I don't Instagram however I love this concept of trying to listen to an album together.

I agree with the third Instagram poster, I'm curious if he enjoys the music from Pink Floyd.

I think I saw in an interview once that dark side of the moon is one of his favorite albums

And I'm hoping he'll include some Dire Straits !

I kinda hope he'll pick a more recent album next time because he's beginning to come across like an old fart that thinks there are no good albums anymore these days o_O

Well, he's doing the Project based on the fact he found his old CD's after a while. Still, seems like Guy's really into "dad rock" lol
