anyone here like the pixies???? I love them!!!! and today I found out that they are doing their first world tour in ELEVEN years and they're starting in Canada!!!!! :D I just hope I can get tickets cuz tickets are expected to be sold out in less then 5 minutes. :confused:

I'm not reallt into them. I saw them support the chilis during the summer and they sounded pretty rubbish they have a few good songs though :) I like monkey gone to heaven and debaser

They are legendary.

I was gonna see them, but they're playing in a really dirty part of ottawa, so i decided to see the tragically hip instead. the hip are playing 10 minutes from my house. :cool:

They are planning to record their first album in 14 years, that is crazy exciting. Who here likes them?

I saw them for the 1st time and basically heard a lot of their stuff for the first time, last month when I saw that Jones Beach here in NY. I gotta say.... they sang soooooooo many songs that night.. one right after the other. I was impressed. The sound there didn't do them justice though.. the band was louder than the vocals.. so, I was a bit lost. But good show, being that they all look so different and older!!

I love them too, I saw them for the first time last year in November and after the show I picked up the cd of the show, which was an awesome memory. They were fantastic live, so professional.

i havent seen them live! :cry: but its on my to do list

They were just in Toronto with Weezer, but I passed... didn't really want to see Weezer. :D

i just LOVE them.

they went to curitiba two years ago and i almost cried!

they have a real importance in my musical live! :)
