Snow Patrol is supporting U2 in Poland, so I'm gonna se both bands in August. Can't wait!!! :D

hey I just saw on tv that somewhere SP was called the most boring band in UK. And they just said that they're like Village People but less gay.

I can't believe it, they're one of the best bands ever!!!

Those of you in europe, SP is opening for U2 on parts of their tour.

I was not so sure that I would go to see U2 but when I found out that SP is opening I just had to. Im going to see them and U2 is just a great bonus to that... :P Even though I love U2 but in my world nothing can be compared with Coldplay and Snow Patrol.

Yea, I'm going for U2 but getting to see Snow Patrol is definitely a huge bonus for me. I really enjoy Snow Patrol but U2 is one of if not my favourite band. Can't wait :D

Well, it doesn't say "split up", but it does mention sliding "off the radar for a few years" to work on "side projects". Sounds like they need a break from releasing a new album every two years. It's a little nerving as a fan, but I'm intirigued by whatever side projects occur.

well yeah maybe split up wasn't the right term, I mean they are going to but not assuming a permanent thing, anyway I'm curious what can Gary do on his own since I've read that he wants to realease a solo album. I'm not sure it's gonna be as cool as SP material but I think it can be almost as good cause he's the main composer.

They should take a break after touring and get together with some more musicians to do a 3rd The Reindeer Section album
