How was the concert?

 

I like some songs of them, especially Run that's one of my favorite songs ever ( even better than a lot of songs of CP) but I think that they don't play it well live. The album version creates a real atmosphere which distinguishes in their live versions, I don't know why....maybe because they play it unplugged. And the singer has a such a crappy live voice, that's why I love Chris! ;)

I also like Shut your eyes - and to the other songs I could not get an access yet.

Just one week untill I see them live :D

The concert last night was very great, please don't ask for the setlist - I don't know :D

They have played about 90 minutes. Gary was in a super good mood, made a lot of jokes and his voice was fantastic - not crappy ;) We had a sing-alone about 15 minutes to "Shut your Eyes", 3 songs bonus at the end and the guys left the stage with a glass of red wine :D

The reason for that with Run is that live the strings can't be heard as loud as in the album bsides you can't hear nathan's guitar on the solo either (that's what I DON'T like at all) and that leaves a hole in that part, you just listen to gary's solo and it's too much volume for his guitar, you need to hear the other one playing the chords to fill that empty space. And I dont think gary's voice is crappy live, he sings better some times that others like everyone.

TickingClock and I were talking about the gig in Stuttgart on Sunday. I didn't know that they'll have a gig in Düsseldorf the day before. ;)

Hey where did you read this? Is it true? Im going to see them when they open for U2 in Zagreb (Croatia), and Ill be on Coldplay show in Udine (Italy) that would be so great. :D
