i saw on the SP.com forum that apparently the Bradley Quinn lithograph packaged in the box sets are different. but i quite like the one i got anyway...even if it seems like the guys are going for the moody rocker look in the shot. 'cept for the fact that the envelope it was sealed in was sealed so tight that i was worried i'd end up ripping the flap!

 

& i just love how the book's done up like a (B&W) scrapbook of their 15yr career + photos from gigs!!! :heart::heart::heart:

that happened to tickets to a concert me and my sis went to in NYC. we just called the box office the day before and told them we hadn't gotten our tickets yet and it turned out to be no big deal. They reprinted them and left us a set at the box office the next day! Hope everyone gets theirs on time!

Chances are if it's See they wouldn't have sent them to Malaysia they would send them to the box-office!

I just checked and it's out today in Mexico, but I checked the website of the best cd store in the country. There's not one near my city but I could order it. The thing is that it says jus 2CD's, not any DVD and I want it with the DVD!!!!!!!

 

Should I buy it like that one? Or should I wait? Cause there's a chance I go to US with my family on vacation a couple days in december but it's way too much time. I don't wanna buy it twice, there's a couple albums I want and can't get.... I just want it with the DVD, the boxset is too much for me :P and the shippong....

ahhh decisions, decisions! :confused: Maybe you can call one of the big stores that appears to have it in stock? Maybe it was mislabeled or maybe they can order the one with the dvd included? What about Amazon.com or something like that? I bet they have most options! good luck :)

Also have checked Target and Best Buy online and it looks like they also just have the 2 disc set. Best Buy MAY have the deluxe edition... they've got an Up to Now listed at $37.99- BUT, it doesn't have any specifics as to what it includes. Mig-El, you may just want to order it rather than risk not being able to find it when you come to the US. I'm going to order mine thru amazon.co.uk. :(

Thanks Jen - that is a better idea - I knew the music stores around here weren't carrying the deluxe edition so I was planning on Amazon whenever I get a paycheck :dozey::rolleyes:! GEEZ the lengths we go through to get our pretty hands on these things! :) good thing it's worth it!

some nifty features like access to the SP.com forum & creating your own paper cutout snowflake & access to view fan photos of the band or the band's own photos (apparently Snow Patrol have a "Band iPhone"??? pity Gary hates Twitter tho... :P) & you can even upload your photos of the band from the app.

Hello all. I hope you’re very well.

 

We’ve been in the rehearsal room in London the whole week rehearsing for the Reworked tour. Things are going very well. Sounding great. Just a few wee details I wanted you all to be aware of. Firstly we are mainly reworking the songs we’ve been playing live for the last few years and that most of you will be most familiar with so it gives you all a new look at some much played songs. We figured when it comes to songs we’ve never played live before (of which there are going to be many on this tour) you’d rather hear them in their original form or close to it so we’ve not tinkered too much with them. Neither are we bringing a support act with us this time. Rather we will be doing two different sets the first set starting at eight o’clock, so get there early.

The other thing is that we did advertise we would have special guest singers. Well, this (crazy) time of year a lot of our musical pals are unfortunately busy with touring so they cannot join us. It’s a shame but I doubt any of you bought the ticket for this reason. Safe to say in the cities we have lived or currently live in we have some fantastic guests lined up but I’m sorry to say outside of Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, London and Manchester it’s unlikely we’ll have guest starring singers. I hope you’ll all understand and really the spirit of the thing is that we look freshly at the back catalogue more than anything else. There are of course loads of guests actually in the main band (sixteen in all in the band) already and they are all fabulous. There are also many songs on the set list that you guys have been asking us to play for a long time and I hope these will be treat enough.

 

Can’t wait to get out on this tour as it’s breathed new life and love into songs we’ve been playing for years. we’re excited for you guys to hear what we’ve done to them. Gary.

 

PS I heard from someone that there was a rumour going round that has got back to us that Bono is guesting with us on the tour. Ha. If only.xx
