February 14, 200422 yr haha my parents are so much strickter i dont know im trying to get all A's in classes
February 15, 200422 yr valentine's day is such a stupid holiday. if you love your significant other, they'll know, you don't have to spend money on them to prove it. this was my first valentine's day alone since 2000, so give me a break if i'm bitter. :P
February 15, 200422 yr actually, now that i think about it, i wasn't alone in 2000 either, even though i wasn't "with" somebody.
February 15, 200422 yr "awwwww Amanda's the only one who doesn't have anyone" So, your the only single person on the planet huh?
February 15, 200422 yr Author "awwwww Amanda's the only one who doesn't have anyone" So, your the only single person on the planet huh? obviously not, haha but my mum made me feel like that, i don't know WHY she'd say it... lol oh well lol

February 17, 200422 yr Aww Mandy  don't worry, you can bitch as much as you like, I'm here to listen and I agree with every single word :D Fuck Valentine's Day. I don't mind being single, but it hurts cos I'm just getting over someone :/ it's so yucky. awwwww ((((((((((Maya))))))))))))) i feel for you; breaking up is never easy. :( specially if you have more feelings for the person than they have for you... :/ or even otherwise. hope u feel better! that's why my thread was only wishing a happy valentine's to singles like us!
February 17, 200422 yr I feel bad saying this now after reading what everyones said...but I don't really think you need one day to tell someone that you love them...I don't think there should only be one day for it, it should be everyday that you tell your partner you love them...i dont see why one day should be so different...but then saying that I still think its a nice thing...I had a wonderful valentines day :)
February 17, 200422 yr i think it's pretty obvious that the reason we need that one day to say it is so retail stores can play it up so that everybody runs out and spends money on clothes or flowers or diamonds or whatever else it is that people don't really need. yes, i'm a cynic. :P
February 17, 200422 yr hahaha that's why i like reading your posts, Mr. Tom Peed! :D :P but what Sammie says is true. Same goes for having 'mothers day' and 'fathers day' and what not... they're your parents, you should be loving and respecting them everyday, not just those days...
February 17, 200422 yr right, and those are more holidays we can thank marketers for. but yeah, i agree wholeheartedly, every day should be for those things, but sometimes we take it for granted, so it's nice to have a reminder for them every now and then.

Yeah ... it's not the pro-couples angle of Valentine's Day that blows. It's the anti-single aspect that sucks.
February 18, 200422 yr yea. My Valentine's Day sucked! Me and the girl broke up a couple weeks before it. Saturday was so boring!
