Sure. He's saying that he's sort of scared about being married and also that the first time he's...slept with someone (I hope you understand that) was 2 years ago. Edit: Not 2 years ago now, obviously.

He means that he is scared of getting too close to someone in case they hurt him so he didn't have sex for the first time until he was 22. :)
