Chrissy worshiping us on all 4s. Has he ever done this elsewhere? I feel so special.

 

He already did it once in ACL just several days ago .. my friend who attended the gig told me that at the end of the show he kissed the floor. She was shoked as she had never seen chris doing that before and said she would never forget it .. :)

I can't wait until December. Although I won't be close like you were. Still pretty excited. Looks like my husband won't be able to come with me now, so I will have to take my son. He is 13.. Still for a first gig, he won't do much better will he?! Did your kids enjoy it? I hope mine will. :)

 

I'm slowly coming down. Sometimes it feels like a dream, like it didn't really happen. It went so fast.

 

My sons enjoyed themselves very much. My 15 yr old, an aspiring musician, was having the time of his life. The 13 yr old was a bit bored during The Joy Formidable and Manchester Ochestra, but came alive when The Black Keys arrived. They both enjoyed Coldplay very much.

In fact, my 15 yr old is now playing Clocks on the piano pretty well.

 

Yes we were very lucky in that we were able to make our way to the very front with our general ground tickets. We just had to show up early enough.

My other standout memory of the show was the fact that someone down the front (presumably a Brit) had a huge sign with a Union Jack flag on one side and a photo of Queen Elizabeth on the other. At regular intervals, I look out over the crowd and see what appears to be the Queen of England pogo-ing along to the new tracks. It’s definitely time for a few days off…

 

OMG! We were exactly next to them, on their right hand side. LOL

The Viva chant starts up a whole hour before the band are due onstage. Once the intro rolls, the cheers are positively thunderous. What a superb way to end an exhausting leg.

 

Yes, we got so excited seeing the roadies set up the Coldplay stage we started the Viva La Vida chant, way long before the concert was to start. In fact, we also attempted the Paradise chant, but it's not as well known yet. It feels so good that they noticed and were pleased.

Definitely, it said in the accompanying text that's what she was doing. If you zoom in you can read it just about. How embarrassing to be caught waiting outside though! But I bet the girls inside were having hysterics! LOL...
