That head belongs to 1 of those guys Chris has said bother him at concerts. He was right in front of him and obviously fought for hrs to get such a great spot. While everyone around him was going crazy, singing and jumping, the guy was just standing there. Though he didn't have his arms folded on his chest, he actually had a great smile and was moving gently. LOL I was jumping like crazy, hitting him at times. He just didn't budge. LOL Some people have a very hard time showing their emotions.

I had a fantastic time, my kids did too. I sang every single song. The crowd was great in my section upfront, lots of young people, teens and early twenties love the new stuff.

Chris looks more handsome in person. I think the arms are exaggerated in the pictures or in videos. They look very normal (good fit normal) not oversized in person. I actually found him very lean and fit.

I don't how he does this night in and night out. I think I'm going to be glued to this catch for the rest of the day. LOL

I think he's getting better with age, looking at the first photos Jeremyy posted? Although he isn't old now! Heaven help us as he gets older if that's the case!! :shocked2:

I used to think Chris was ugly, especially when Yellow came out, but he was still in an awkward stage. He definitely has grown into his looks and is a cute guy.

I didn't think he was either for a long time, just had a great voice. But when he was on the cover of SPIN I thought 'Hey, this guy's actually kind of cute.'. And he's only gotten better-looking since! :)

The guitar Chris plays in God Put A Smile has been the subject of much discussion of late. Its one of his nicest sounding telecasters, which Dan Green loves recording. The song has seen the guitar launched high into the air rather a lot on this tour - each time landing rather dramatically on the stage. It’s only a matter of time Dan says, before something unthinkable happens to one of Chris’s best guitars. Tonight it refuses to co-operate after the first chords of the song. As a result, Chris heaves it over his head and it gets perhaps its last flight skyward for this tour. Chris then starts the next verse guitar-less and grins goofily and mimes playing guitar in a slightly “when I’m cleaning windows” fashion. Clearly the exhaustion and delirium is universal.

 

My other standout memory of the show was the fact that someone down the front (presumably a Brit) had a huge sign with a Union Jack flag on one side and a photo of Queen Elizabeth on the other. At regular intervals, I look out over the crowd and see what appears to be the Queen of England pogo-ing along to the new tracks. It’s definitely time for a few days off…

 

Sounds like an awesome concert. Wish I could have been there...
