Hope it's just some doodles about new songs, rather than actual tattoos.. He didn't have any working out did he? That was two days or so ago.. don't tattoos have to be covered up for a bit? I don't know, I've never had one. But my friend has and it takes a day or so for the redness to go.. The last lot have made my computer overheat! LOL.. We must have posted at the same time. But Chris Martin gave a glimpse into the other main role in his life as he stepped out for a day of fun with his daughter Apple, eight, and son Moses, six, on Saturday. The 36-year-old musician seemed to be in his absolute element as he lavished attention on his little ones, carrying Moses on his shoulders as the group made their way to the Brentwood Country Mart in California. Lifting his son off his shoulders as the family stopped off at an ice cream stand, the rocker grinned from ear-to-ear as he launched into an attack of the tickles on the delighted youngster. Apple was accompanied by a friend as the group made their way about the market, with the kids no doubt delighted to enjoy a day off from their A-list actress mother Gwyneth Paltrow's strict diet. Browsing the different tasty flavours on offer, the children seemed to be in their element as they enjoyed a day of fun with their dad. With both Apple and Moses immaculately turned out, Chris looked every inch the fashionable father in a laid back combination of a printed T-shirt, maroon trousers and a lightweight denim biker jacket. Moses had evidently inherited his dad's chilled-out sense of style, wearing a T-shirt, jeans and a baseball cap. Meanwhile, Apple looked positively adorable in a faux fur gilet, shorts and a T-shirt - with her little friend opting for exactly the same outfit. Although Gwyneth, 40, is known for her strict approach to diet and exercise, she recently admitted she 'loosens up the reigns' when the family go out. The actress revealed in her new Goop issue that she tried to start her kids off on the right foot nutrition-wise, 'but the lure of Oreos and cotton candy outweighed the lure of carrots and hummus. And that's all part of childhood and I love Oreos too, so I completely understand,' she said. The busy mother said that while she makes sure to feed her children nutritious meals at home, she allows them the occasional treat. 'They love a brown rice stir-fry but they also love their "Coke of the week"', said the blonde. 'My daughter gravitates toward fresh fruit and raw nuts but will inhale a bag of hot Cheetos at the airport. It's really all about balance.'
