I've been waiting to tell you for like two days!! NAIRGBHARG... Omg, it was heaven. I STILL didn't buy Takk... before the concert, but it was cool hearing the new songs for the first time and it being live. The one where they used the disco ball... I was trying so hard not to cry by thinking of Chris looking for his pants, but that barely worked. :bigcry:

 

Seeing Jónsi actually play was awesome. His shadow made me think of Jack Skellington. :laugh4: Orri was great, such a different style than Will. Georg is tall. Kjartan switched off between like 5 instruments :laugh4:

 

Now... the crowd was totally quiet during the long pause in the V song, so what was the surprise? I have nothing to compare it to, so I couldn't tell!

That's so great. I'm glad you had such a great experience. They're amazing live.

 

And yes, the silence during V-song is deliberate. Jonsi does it to sort of "test" the audience. He thinks it's funny.

So it was a TEST? :laugh4: :laugh4: Man... my sis took some audio-less vids, but the security there were being super anal about cameras. I brought a disposable camera, so when I took pics and the flash went off, those people turned around. The lady even told my sister to stop taking the silent, non-flashing vids. :dozey: I don't know if it's SR's thing, though, because it seemed like only three people in the audience were taking pics anyway...

Well, at a concert like that, they can't have lots of flashes. They don't really care. The people at Nashville just told me to turn my flash off. I don't know why they would tell you to turn the video camera off though. Someone recorded all of the Nashville concert.

 

I think it just varies I guess. *Shrug*

Gah, well, I haven't even looked at the vids yet... whatever we got, I'm happy with. :smug:

The first time I met Chris Martin I was on crack and I was an absolute asshole and I kept saying, 'Aren't you in Travis?' to him.
