Hello everyone.

In these troubled times, the elves and I are determined to keep the spirit of Christmas alive, by spreading the love and fostering togetherness!

Sooooooooo *dramatically shakes sleigh bells* 

It's that time of the year again! Sign up now for our annual card/gift exchange

 

This is the 14th Coldplaying Secret Santa, and here's how it works:

 

* You have the option to choose between sending a card or small gift to someone in your own continent or another continent. For example:

Europe to Europe
or
Europe to North America, South America, Oceania, Africa or Asia

* If you would like to join this year, please let us know asap. The deadline for signing up is Saturday 11th November, 11:59 PM CET.

 

We need the following information:

- Your name and address; please display it as you would write it on an envelope. The only person who will receive this information is your Secret Santa.

- Your email address (we need to be able to get in touch with you in case you won't reply to Coldplaying PMs).

- Secret Santa match preference: either your continent or anywhere in the world. Please do not ask for a specific continent or country (otherwise it gets seriously complicated for Santa and the elves).

You will receive your Secret Santa match by the 13th of November.

We only have a couple of days between the submission deadline and when I send you your match, which is why I must insist on the submission deadline: please join by November 10th!


* A couple of important points:

- Send your card as soon as possible (preferably before December) so that it will arrive in time for Christmas! Use airmail if that option is available. 

You can ask your local post office how long it will take for your card to arrive. In previous years some cards never arrived and some people received their card long after Christmas (January/February) so please try to send the card in time, especially if it has to travel across oceans and so on.

- When you receive your match's information, please confirm that you have all the info.

- Send a PM to the SantaClaus account after you send your card to your Secret Santa match.

- Suggestion: Take a picture of your card/package before you ship. That way, if there is any lost mail, you can at least share the picture and description of the items you had carefully and lovingly prepared for other Coldplaying members.

- Post a message in this thread after receiving your card (with a photo if possible so that everyone can see what you got) or at least send a PM to Santa to confirm that you have received it.

Oh my god y'all!!!! I got an absolutely beautiful package from Sara from Italy today! :dazzled:

Christmas socks! I totally love Christmas jumpers and socks and stuff like that, but somehow didn't own any yet. They also fit perfectly which is surprising considering I have the tiniest feet lol

And of course chocolate! I do indeed know this Italian chocolate haha it's heavenly :wacky: there's also cake, more chocolate, some pretty ornaments which are going into the tree (I'm decorating it tonight), lip balm (how did you know I've almost run out?), a lego Santa thingy that looks quite challenging, Christmas pens, and some Coldplay stuff.

Grazie mille @Sara42 (Santa kindly revealed your username to me), the message on your card is so sweet, the whole thing totally made my day. See you in Lyon next year & have a wonderful Christmas ❤

Today I received my first ever package from Shanghai and also first ever Secret Santa!!

Thank you sooo much to Aaron @aAron_winchest for sending these all the way to Jakarta, Indonesia! 💚  The keychains are the CUTESTTTTT ever!!!! 

I'm so happy that this platform has been giving us the opportunity to connect all around the world and it feels so great to know you share the same interest & love towards a band with the best community you could've ever asked for. Grateful! Truly is one big band, one big family!

Hey, 

This was my first Secret santa and even though i was so happy to participate i ve still haven't received my gift and also my match hasn't confirmed if he received his present.

Just wanted to say that I'm a bit disappointed not for the gift as such but because we might not follow the guiding lines of this concept.

Anyway, wishing you all the best and a happy new year! I hope to meet you one day at one of the concerts.

Maybe the elves travelled with Deutsche Bahn (German Rail). If so, they'll be here around Easter. (German Rail's always late) I'm still patiently waiting for my Secret Santa to arrive and hoping that nothing was lost.... 🎅

Hey there, 

mit was my first Secret Santa as well and my letter hasn‘t arrived yet as it seems nor did I receive anything , a Not depressing since the costs for postage to the USA were not cheap at all 😢
