We know it's not on Moon Music, nor is it on the Full Moon edition. But it's clearly something they intended to release at some point, right? On top of Guy's stage bass, lyrics from the song are written on Chris' stage piano. I wonder if there's still a plan to release it or if it's scrapped for good. Someone asked Debs and she responded with an emoji, so who knows that that means. Speculate baselessly in here.

October 7, 20241 yr Other than The Astronaut, Shine On is the only song they've played live without releasing since the release of MOTS. Coldplay's version of The Astronaut (sadly) will probably never be released, but I think they must have an idea with Shine On. It wouldn't have been played live otherwise. The mouth shut emoji suggests that as well, but the question is whether it's going to be on the fifth version of Moon Music, the EP I've seen mentioned, or as part of the musical. I'm leaning towards the first two.

October 8, 20241 yr Author Speaking of duplicate song titles, it could be Luna (and not Lhuna). The moon shines with the light of the sun, the bridge is Shine On, it's a reach but it makes as much sense as anything else.

Luna is a real song, it is not Aiko or Lhuna or whatever other name people have called it. Quick side note for anyone who's curious: all songs featured in 🌈 will be finished and released. Shine On's fate is unknown, unfortunately, and not even the insiders I talk with knew it existed to begin with.
