Do most of the acts have minimal equipment? ie. DJ sets? They are making it hard for themselves cramming the dates together. My bet is, there will be sideshows.

According to their website, they are playing: (nothing is mentioned between December 21 and 12 march) which means they may play sideshows pre-FutureMusicFestival.

there is a 6 day gap between the gold coast show and the sydney. songs like No You Girls and Turn It On have received alot of mainstream attention down here so i would there will be alot of demand for sideshows.

Good to see this excellent band touring South America. They deserve more airplay with their third album.

We've seen some change

But we're still outsiders

If everybody's here

Then hell knows

We ride alone

Hopefully I will have some half-decent videos of 40Ft and Walk Away up sometime, half-decent because it's a hard getting good pictures being with the gods

Love the albums Franz Ferdinand and You could Have it So Much Better, but does anyone else find Tonight a bit disappointing?

No, Tonight is my favourite album by them. It's one of the only ones I can listen the whole the way through.

saw them on friday. brilliant! i didn't expect much because i don't listen to them too often. it was great, loads of fun!

found one of my fav parts on youtube:

Not really. It's just a lot different from the other two albums.

I personally love YCHISMB.

I still like the debut album the best, but Tonight is amazing too. Don't like YCHISMB that much, though. (in comparison :D)

Gah, I love Franz...

Hello! So a nobody has post since a long ago.

I must say that I'm just starting to listen to this band and I love them! and I love Alex too.

my fav. now that I don't know much is Walk Away... and others like DOP

I have only some songs, but I want to buy one album... which one do you think is the best?

All of them are great, though I'd have to say that the self titled début is the best. :nice:

I personally really love Tonight as well (probably almost as much as s/t), but I'm not so keen on YCHISMB for some reason (although there are a couple fantastic songs on it :D). Go see them live if you can, they're amazing!

And Alex is hawt. :wacky:

YCHISMB has great songs in it; the problem is it doesn't hold so well as a unified album. Anyway, I love the band; the debut will probably be remembered as their classic.
