Yeah, according to the liner notes most songs on the début are credited Kapranos/McCarthy (i.e. Alex and Nick), on the other two albums the songs are credited Franz Ferdinand, but you can assume that they are the main writers of the songs.

Yeah, Alex and Nick are the two 'heads' of Franz (kinda Lennon and McCartney) but everyone is free to add his brick!

I saw them on March 13th, I must say it's been one of the best concerts I've seen, it was so much fun!

Just wanted to say that I love the "music" of the band I mean, just the sound ( the lyrics and voice too but the music is...mmmmmh). The battery is sooooo great! And I love how the guitar goes in Dark of the matinée, and the bass of many!

And I agree, the Franz gig was one of the gig I had the most fun! Beware of stiffness afterwards XDD

Nah, I don't think so, but you could check imdb or some other resource to see whether it's been used in a movie or tv show. It could also be Hallam Foe Dandelion Blow though, which is the title song for the movie Hallam Foe. (big surprise there) It's got more or less the same sound, sans the piano. Look it up on youtube, it's good. :nice:

Thanks! And they were fantastic!! I was right in front of Nick and he was insane live!!Nick was wearing a typical mask from here while playing Jacqueline and then he threw it at the crowd just where i was standing! ( second row baby :charming:) I got my hands on it but like 20 other people grabbed it too so they all destroyed the poor mask but i got a bit of it haha . I'll post a vid of nick wearing it and then i'll take a pic of the little piece i got :heart:

Yup, i'm from there and they were greeeat! I can't believe how down to earth and nice they really are! That just make me like them even more :heart: Totally random but i'm deaf! Haha i was so close to the speakers last night that i'm sure my ears will buzz for the next 3 days but it was oh so worth it :wacky:
