And it does exist, of course. Its certainly not a "Fact" thats for sure. Coldplay are good at making it. Songs that annoy me? "My Band" is funny, its terrible, but its not meant to be good, I doubt its even meant to be catchy, because it isnt. Eminem sings it out of tune, the chorus and the bridge part, they certainly werent aiming high there. "Milkshake" was great, the background beat was fantastic. I hated it at first, but now I love it. The Remix however, bleagh. Eamon's "Dont Want You Back" I used to like, it blows chunks and its a really weak sounding cheesy song, but I thought there was some heartfelt genuine emotion behind those lyrics. Then when I saw him being interiewed about it I realised he's an asshole who thinks swearing makes him unique and it takes 'Balls' to swear nowadays, even though every MTV awards are chalked full of it, and the programs too. Swearing doesnt make a song good. 50 Cents "In Da Club" was brilliant, he has a good freestyle throughout it and the backing orchestra hit, bouncy drums and groovy guitar riff are just great. The way it keeps building up towards the intense ending is genius, and then the song relieves a little. Then 50 had mega bad, un-original sounding songs. 21 Questions, PIMP was dreadful, Wanksta had a nice sample and that was it, and his newest song just sounds like Bad Boy for Life. This is crap, crap music. Plus, in his new song, PIMP, 21 Questions and many of his other songs on Get Rich or Die Tryin, he just sings the melody the same as what the guitar or backing track is playing, its pointless to listen to.
