I've seen this term being used now by both sides tonight (i.e. against Oldplayers and against Newplayers) and I would like to say that I find it generally inappropriate to connect the term facism to anything as light as opinions on music genres. Really...

I can't make out what the backing lyrics actually are saying, but the are indeed awful.

I thought that font is called Albertus :) And yes, I'd love to have it back, too. It's THE Coldplay font (and the City of London's where they prbably got the idea from :D)

I feel their new songs just don't speak to us Oldplayers on a personal level any more. They don't feel as deep. To me, this forced happiness feels a bit superficial, if you know what I mean ? Nothing I can connect to. I can connect so well to their earlier works...where Chris poured his heart out into every single note he sang. There is something missing nowadays.

Yes, the lyrics are disappointing. I would have expected better ones for this grad title "Adventure Of A Lifetime". :( Also, sad to hear the line "a dream that died by light of day" "used" up by this upbeat song...

Yes, but following the snippet and artwork I had hoped for something more indie and psychedelic. This is just too generic. Especially the wohoos at the ending, they're cringeworthy... :(

lol I'm not sure, the acoustic songs on MX were worse to me than the poppier ones... I'll leave this for someone else to answer I guess

IN my opinion it is a very generic mainstream dannce pop track. I was very disappointed. And to me, it's worse than several songs off MX and GS (for me, better than AOAL are: Paradise, Fly On, Ghost Story, Major Minus...)
