well it definitely does in my situation. i dont think me and my boyfriend would particularly care about that day if we lived together. you dont need a day like that to show your partner that you love him. apart from that i'm not really into hearts and flowers and them things. but when i see them they still bring me down because it makes me think of how much happier i could be if my boyfriend was around.

i cant say i'm looking forward to that day. seeing hearts and them things in every shop makes me sick. valentine's day doesnt mean much to me but the fact that i cant spend it with my bf makes me really sad. not just valentine's day though, its pretty much the same every day.

i know but dont they just compete as england because they can? if they didnt have a chance without scotland, wales and northern ireland they'd compete as britain, wouldnt they? yeah i know but it isnt played in many countries thats what i meant. and theres one thing which i find rather confusing. theres some countries competing together like all west indian countries.

but in other sports scotland and wales compete in the british team. its just different in football. and i guess you wouldnt say that about other sports like cricket, which is basically played in britain and its former colonies. anyway thats off topic.
