  1. there's so many remixes of 'clocks' i'm sure i'll never hear them all...i'll have to check that one out though.
  2. i went and d/led the song. i think it is going to be a great track. i really like the beat their sampling. gah. i love the idea of a club-related track. i LOVE going out and dancing to coldplay, heh.
  3. i love 'sparks' it is so simple...but it just finds a way under your skin.
  4. ^^ that's a solid list laura! ;) i know what this thread is saying though...i'm not really excited about coldplay anymore. well, i mean i am -- but i need new fresh reasons to be excited about them. i watched the tour diary dvd the other day. heh. that helped me rekindle that lurve. gosh, i hope a single drops soon.
  5. ^^ ahh his hair IS lovely! john mayer. :/
  6. i feel like canadians, especially ontario-residents, are the number one web surfers. i meet so many ontario folks. anyway, interpol. much love. i wonder if their going to play more tracks from antics on this leg of the tour? hopefully expand that set to two hours? ha.
  7. i heard that the ending is a bit off-putting! something about topher though...he's making it seem worth seeing.
  8. yeah, neither do i...now. i had never driven on the highway before so it was just a little nerve-racking for me to get us there. the drive home was nice though since no one was on the highway. drive homes after concerts are always the best. you just have the warmest, giddest feeling coming over you. least that's how it is for me. well, if you ever get sick of being with the boyfriend at concerts, you just say the word and we can go together...complete stranger. ha! :) and laura's from t.dot. she'll join us i'm sure!
  9. mmm paul banks icons.
  10. ha, yeah i know what you mean. to get my friend to come i had to drive us and pay for her ticket. i live in london, so it was a two hour road trip for us. none of my friend's knew who interpol was, let alone liked them...heh. but somehow i can always find someone to come to a show with me. or i'd just go myself. i wouldn't miss interpol, there's no way...
  11. ahaha. i think i read that one too. not only did they get back together but now they want to make a baby! tabloids make me laugh. who would believe that?
  12. ahh, thanks for the info reindeergirl. the idea of a future interpol concert perks me right up. you were definitely up closer then me. i was like 7th or 8th row i suppose...? i didn't get to the venue until 9...my friend and i hate pushing through people to get closer so we just kind of settled in one stop and moved when the option was available. heh.
  13. thanks doll...and your right. i'm lucky to have even seen them once!
  14. ^^ gah. that's a first. i've never met a woman who didn't like sex and the city. did you guys know pamela anderson was offered the role teri hatcher plays first? apparently they wanted her to die her hair brown and she wouldn't have it. ha. she must be kicking herself considering what a pop culture phenom the show seems to be becoming...
  15. yes, that is definitely a recurring comment i hear when i bring up the fact that it was at the docks. i dunno. it wasn't that great, but i was close to the front so it didn't bother me so much. as long as i could see some sweet coked-out facial expressions i didn't care where i was. i'm disappointed they didn't add a canadian date for the second leg of the tour, but i figured they wouldn't. i hope they come back in the summer.
  16. ha. i know. i loved that 'money' skit the best. how fucking funny was that? 'oh dollar, don't you remember when you were big and your treated us like dog fesis?' ha. toper's accent made that scene. it was a great episode. killer's definitely rocked it out. it was so cute how damn nervous the lead was during 'somebody told me'. you could just see in his eyes how scared he was.
  17. i haven't even seen one, let alone two verison's of 'hysteria'. :/ damn much music and their lack of muse.
  18. one day we'll both get our chance to experience franz ladylike!
  19. yup. at the docks.
  20. i dunno if i'd say weak as much as i'd say different but that's just because i really like 'slow hands' and 'evil'...but yes...both sound pretty radio-friendly and 'safe' as a comparison to the rest of the album.
  21. oh that's awesome. thanks for writing that all up for us. gah. i'm so siked to hear what these all actually sound like...especially 'talk'.
  22. as soon as i saw that 'we may never make another record' i was like 'faack off' chris has said before and he'll say it again that poor insecure pup. it's almost like a safety net. if the album doesn't do well it looks like it was his plan/choice to fade a w a y....regardless. least that's what i think.
  23. no, it's not hard. i've made a few before. i used paint shop pro and animation shop pro. there's a really good website that gives you step by step info on how to make them, but livejounal is down so i can't get to it. it's easier then you think though.
