It usually takes me a long, long time to trust anyone... usually at least a year or more... but it's because I'm pathetically loyal once I actually do.

:lol: Up here CMT is the country music station. CTV is more like the Canadian equivalent of ABC or NBC. On another note, if the last acts have been announced, it means that Arcade Fire won't be playing. :cry: Rats. I was really hoping they would.

Sienna, I have no idea. Up untill Coldplay announced that they were coming, even most Canadians didn't really care about the Junos, so I don't think that any American network would show it, but I have a reputation for being very cynical about these things. That said, they are aired on CTV, and CTV has some big fancy deal cooking with MTV, so there's always a chance that one of MTV's US channels might show it.

Of course, for every stupid question, there has to be at least a dozen stupid statements. (You can count this one amoung them if inclined to make a stupid joke :P)

My brother took guitar lessons years ago, so I've been using his old books. If you really wanted to learn, you could probably just go to a music store and ask them what a good begginner book is. I have yet to find anything decent on the net.

Oy... anyone notice that? Question- what person in their right mind would actually WANT to sit at a resturant patio in Halifax in March/April? You're going to either get rained on, snowed on, or at the very least, frozen solid. :worried2: Granted, the resturants are probably going to be packed, but... ...I'm shivering just thinking about it.

My 9th grade teacher started the class on the first day of the year with the statement "there is no such thing as a stupid question". It was a very bad idea. I think it took her about a week to seriously regret it. The guys in the class made it their mission in life to prove that stupid questions do in fact exist. The poor woman switched schools the next year. That said, all too often people are afraid that they're going to ask a stupid question and so they don't, and it turns out that it was actually something really important.

I'd never played guitar before in my life until last summer. I had a friend who showed me some basics, but otherwise I'm completly self-taught. I got a used acoustic yamaha for not too much and it sounds really nice. An electric guitar is more like a distant dream I use as bait to practice- I might not practice enough otherwise. I think I'm doing quite well, I think... i can play songs all the way through, and I'm teaching myself to read music, but I still have a long long way to go. So basically my point is, I guess, sure it works.

If you think about it, he's just reverting. :idea2: Maybe he's trying to pretend he's back in college again? :dozey: I hope he cuts is soon. I like it long and curly, but..... there's a limit. :rolleyes:

Does anyone remember what Chris said at the last minute on radio 1? "Can I tell you something, since this is our last radio interview for many years. Our next record is going to be alot better, and I know 'cause its written. And that's all I have to say. Goodbye." (Stupid tabloids aside) is any of this actually new? They are currently winding down the US tour and then there's the Australian tour and that's it. Miller has said they've been writing a ton of new material in soundchecks, and they've been saying for awhile that they want to get into a studio soon. I think what Chris means is that the Brits was the last official UK appearance for the current tour.

Yeah, Halifax Why? (and yes, I know I'm pathetically excited. this sort of thing doesn't happen around here often- ever, actually)
