Heroes
^Agreed (hey man, what's up with all the negative rep points? ) Mahatma Gandhi, John Lennon, Bono, Chris, George Harrison, basically anyone who works for the greater good. And my musical idol is Bob Dylan, definately. I don't know about actual heros who I know personally....... I admire my brother and how strong he is, he's got a lot of serious illnesses that really affect him... So he's a hero of mine, yes.

- Happy birthday Miguel!
Happy birthday!- how much do you want kids?
Never want kids, I have a phobia with pregnancy... I'm absolutely TERRIFIED of it, and I never ever ever ever EVER want to be made to go through it. And if I ever become involved with a guy who is dead set on making me his personal baby machine then, bye bye. I would definately consider adoption. I don't want to bring a new child into such a fucked up world. But there's so many kids in need of direction and love in this world, and if someone's willing to give it, then so be it! I know a few people from my school who are adopted, and they're all really nice, normal people! So I wouldn't stereotype adopted children that easily...;) Some kids who come from certain orphanages (the easiest example that pops into my mind is ones in Russia) mistreat children at a young age, and then that effects them through the rest of their lives. They get anti social, etc etc. It's so sad...- why people break...
I think it's just symbolic. Like Hendrix lighting his guitar on fire during Monterey. It's just like.... Oh ye rock gods, here is a Fender Stratocaster in sacrifice to ye greatness! *smash* And Pete Townshend started smashing his guitars by accident, when the band played a small club and he hit his guitar on the ceiling, snapping the neck. He got pissed so he smashed it up. It became a part of their show after that, giving them huge success. A lot of people identify The Who with the birth of punk music, therefore a lot of punkers take that and decide that they want to do it too. Pete's said that he got sick of having to ruin his guitars, but it was expected of him. Too bad those punk rockers don't know that he actually DIDN'T mean it...- gwyneth paltrow
Welcome to the site, but honey... Coldplay doesn't read this website.....- What are you reading right now?
Quite a few things at once. I'm almost done with Truman Capote's 'In Cold Blood', while starting TC Boyle's 'World's End', which is for my english class (I'm doing a study in satire, Vonnegut's next).- Radiohead tour dates
I'm used to being quick with tickets, U2 fan after all ;) Ummm... Ok now that I've got my necessary INSANE caps crazy outburst out of the way..... Sorry if this has been asked a crazy amount of times before, but this is the first time I'll be "attempting" to see them live, and uh... Where do you get tickets? I know that they're not on ticketmaster (which sucks, I know the ins and outs of that place!). So is it through their official website? I was just looking there and there's nothing mentioning this... I'm so sorry, I'm such a newb with Radiohead tickets, heh! Also, you mentioned two dates. Do any experienced people have tips on which day I should choose? Do the first days usually sell out faster than the second? I typically go for the second show, since I know a lot of people just click the first date. But.... Hm. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance:)- Radiohead tour dates
THE BANK OF AMERICA PAVILION!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!!?!?!?! HOLY FUCKING HELL I LIVE LIKE 10 MINUTES FROM THERE OH SHIT *SHITS SELF* I'M GOING TO SEE RADIOHEAD. 0.0 *feverishly writes reminders EVERYWHERE to get tickets!* THANK YOU FOR THE HEADS UP SORRY BUT CAPS IS MANDATORY RIGHT NOW. EDIT: I love that venue THEY HAVE THE BEST PIZZA AND BEER I'M SO EXCITED LMFAOOOOOOOO /done.- CCC [Overview]: Suggest ideas here
Wow, welcome!! :) Of course it's ok with us! It's not like we have any particular hazing rituals for new "members" ;) We just want support and ideas!!- Do you often change your room style?
I never move stuff around, waaaay too difficult to do (both my parents have bad back problems, so it's not right for me to ask them). But I'm always reinventing the walls. I'm currently in the process of erecting an Arctic Monkeys portion.... this is quite fun. And there's always some new little piece of trash adorning my floor... heh.- The Rate Your Physical Attractiveness Out of 10 Thread!
Feel free to call me Danielle:) I think that I've come to KIND of believe that, but I don't know...... Maybe to a certain regard? Interesting thought, definately.- Can you whistle?
Bright, the George Bush quote in your signature is absolutely hysterical. CLASSIC! LMFAO! I can whistle all of Radiohead's High and Dry *does it right now* Oh, amusement.- My Coldplay Fantasy
 LMFAO! Well hell, that's what this whole forums about! I've been in too many internet message boards to see that bad feelings can just rip the place apart. It's just not worth it.- The Rate Your Physical Attractiveness Out of 10 Thread!
Girls are all closet lesbians. They all secretly want each other's bodies. At least that's what I've come to realize.- The 90's
Oh my gawd, Growing Pains! I loved that show! And Boy Meets World! I watched Disney Channel all the time... wow.- The Rate Your Physical Attractiveness Out of 10 Thread!
You know, I feel like fixing my rating. I gave myself a 3... I'd like to give myself a 7. I based that 3 on what guys must find attractive about me, which is probably nothing. I think I'm fat and my body's horrible, blah blah. How could a guy like that? I'm sure none of the guys around here can say a fat girls attractive. It's horribly unfair (especially when I see fat guys getting laid LMFAOOO). Or am I wrong? So yes. I think I'm good looking! No more beating myself down because the guy I like won't ask me to prom!- My Coldplay Fantasy
For the record, I never gave you negative rep points. I just noticed you got some and I was hoping you didn't think I gave you any. So I'm going to give you positive ones as a make up! ;)- My Coldplay Fantasy
Thank you! I have no bitter feelings towards anyone, only if they're holding a grudge against me. I'm so glad to know you're not! :) It was simply a very bad day, and just not the right time for me to come upon it. I've got no problems with you at all, in fact, I love your music taste in your sig. Right on!- 96.4 BRMB: "100 Greatest Albums You Must Own"
It certainly worked with me, I didn't recognize you without the radiohead avi!- Rate the latest movie you've seen
American Beauty 9/10- The 90's
Men in Black, the first PG-13 I ever saw, and it was at my friend's house. I felt like such a rebel!!!- 96.4 BRMB: "100 Greatest Albums You Must Own"
I agree with that totally. I hear U2 a lot in The Bends (which is probably why it's my favorite album of theirs). But I can't hear ANY U2 in Kid A, OKC, etc etc. The comparison is there, but just in theory, I guess. EDIT: oh my god I KNEW IT. OH MY GOD! I was wondering where you went! Well, hello! Glad I got that cleared up! LMFAO- 96.4 BRMB: "100 Greatest Albums You Must Own"
Ondes Martenot, who WERE you? Did you change your username from something.... I'm sorry, I'm just so confused with everyone changing their usernames- 96.4 BRMB: "100 Greatest Albums You Must Own"
Personally, I think that: No Joshua Tree (which propelled U2 to superstardom, permanently)= No OK Computer. I think (actually, I'm kind of positive about this) that U2 paved the way for Radiohead, kept that portion of the music industry safe for them to arrive and thrive in while all the other 80s bands went to shit and hip hop started taking over. But then again, I think Ok Computer is a more INTERESTING album overall. Maybe better than Joshua Tree. Hm.... - Happy birthday Miguel!
