Hello fellow East Coaster!:) Glad to see a new fan and new member!
  4. Hey, welcome! I love seeing people come here from the official board! You can really get the wrong impression of Coldplay fans, there. We're the true ones!:D I don't know where you could send fan mail.... Try looking around Coldplay.com and see if it's answered in the FAQ's. Or send an email to Debs, I think her email's on the site somewhere (I haven't visited coldplay.com in awhile...!). Anyways, welcome again and I'm sure you'll love it here!
  5. When you change your avatar or sig every day, or every couple days. When you read the Guy thread.... All 3,000 pages of it.
  6. Well, we can't ALL be wrong, because I find him incredibly attractive in that pic as well. Then again, I find him attractive in every single picture.... :uhoh:
  7. LMFAO That cat looks exactly like him.... Because he's got the white shirt coming through under his neck, and so does the cat.... ahahhaa *goes away*

The auction runs through April 24th and all proceeds will be donated to the 4th Annual Build a Well for Bono’s Birthday fundraising drive. The participating photographers are well known in the U2 fan community for their outstanding work. Ten photographers have donated over 90 photos for the auction. The African Well Fund is a registered 501©3 non-profit organization that was founded in 2002 by a group of U2 fans. Since that time, AWF has raised more than $145,000, which has been used to fund more than 40 clean water projects in sub-Saharan Africa. All donations to the African Well Fund go directly to Africare, one of the leading private, non-profit, charitable organizations assisting Africa. The African Well Fund was founded to focus on one achievable goal: providing access to clean water to everyone in Africa. The African Well Fund believes that access to water is not merely a basic human need but a basic human right. Contact: Diane Yoder African Well Fund P.O. Also, Ali Hewson is featured in this month's Vanity Fair for her work with EDUN.:) Chernobyl Convoy a "Lifeline from Ireland" By Eoin English VOLUNTEERS were yesterday packing trucks and ambulances with over €3 million worth of humanitarian aid that is bound for Belarus this weekend. The 42-vehicle Chernobyl Children’s Project convoy, which includes 27 fully-equipped ambulances and 15 articulated trucks, will stretch three kilometres when it leaves Midleton, Co Cork, on Sunday. Up to 90 aid workers will deliver aid to orphanages and hospitals across a 1,600km region in Belarus over the next 10 days. This month marks the 20th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Chernobyl Children’s Project director Adi Roche described the convoy as a lifeline from Ireland. “What they carry is the hope and dreams and real practical love of the people of Ireland to the people of Belarus,” she said. The convoy is being dedicated this year to the memory of a Belarussian child, Veronik Charlai, aged 12, who died a few months ago from cancer. Ms Roche and Ali Hewson, Bono’s wife, will fly out next week to join the convoy. They will present a special ambulance to the Red Cross to be used as a mobile thyroid monitoring unit that hopes to screen up to 500,000 people this year. --Irish Examiner
  9. OY! *bump!!!!!* I can't see my U2 go to the second page!:o Hmmmm.... Not much U2 news, huh? I'll have to go look for some.
  10. Great pictures, thanks! I like the one with Paul's quote about death:lol: So true!! Whoa, I haven't seen anyone with Interpol tattoos....:shocked2: Do you have a link to that? I'd be interested to see.... Haha, the other day I went to the local Newbury Comics, looking for bumper stickers for my new Jeep. I was pulling a Radiohead one off the shelf to take when I saw RIGHT behind it an.... INTERPOL ONE! That was so awesome, so of course I got it and it's now proudly in the back of my car.:smug:
  11. There are better songs by each of these artists.... And there's DEFINATELY better Zeppelin songs. Honestly, I've never really seen the appeal of Stairway To Heaven (well, I've got to say, it does have appeal at 4am when you play it backwards....:stunned: ). But I do think that Bohemian Rhapsody is a no contest, AMAZING song. So I guess I'll vote for that. While keeping in mind that this is the most cliched poll ever.... *has issues with certains songs defining bands and eras*

'Somebody To Love' is one of my all time favorite songs from ANYONE. Freddie Mercury had SUCH an incredible voice. Absolutely amazing band. I don't know how I feel about Paul Rogers coming in, though...... I thought about going to see them live, but that's just not the same to me.
  13. Keane always brightens my day, no matter what. They're... like my anti-drug! And as long as the next album does the same for me as Hopes And Fears did (to an extent, I don't want it to be the same!) then I'll be perfectly ok. Any album that makes me smile, or cry, or whatever, is a good album.:smug:
  14. Oh, Alex.... But I have LEGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bigcry:
  15. haha, is there an option for YUMMY? /done.
  16. mmmmmm. Haha. I love me some Alex and Apples!!! Stuff of life, there! I love that video! Fits the song so totally and completely. And yesh. Matt is quite/VERY sexy. LMFAO
  17. heh, he's holding an apple, that he was eating.
  18. aw shit, hang on I'll rehost them. all rehosted now, they should show up!
  19. heh, kissy lips chris!
