They've obviously changed their minds about VlV because they've moved the score up to 6.9 now.

In this video the top E string is detuned to a C# so the opening chord 'rings' a bit more. I'm pretty sure the tuning for LiT on record is different to how it is with the Violet Hill tuning.

I'm sure someone's said it before but the thing Chris plays at the end of "Politik" is an actual piece of classical music. It might be Chopin although I'm not sure.

Really? I've never heard that before. How comes he isn't credited for it on the record sleeve but he gets a credit for his work on 'Low'? Also, Eno didn't mix the record so you can't blame him for that. I think we can all agree that another album in the same old Coldplay mould would not have been a good move for the band.

I completely see where you're coming from. I can understand Trouble being on the new setlist because it hasn't really been a regular on the last two tours but Fix You can go. I think they're going to play Clocks just because it was such a big hit. I do like the new interpretation of Yellow though - if they'd played the same old way it would've been a complete was of five minutes concert time.

Yeah! Santogold's ace. Hope she plays with them in the UK. Part of the reason why she was chosen was probably because she's not like Coldplay. It's good to have a support act that's a bit different, otherwise you get two and a half hours of the same stuff...yawn.

Yeah, no one's ever bugged me about Coldplay. I'm not a fanboy but they are my favourite band. I've certainly never heard anyone talk about Chris to me.
