Yeah absolutely, I love We Never Change; really chilled and mellow. Michael Stipe's made a career out of talking gibberish - I have no idea what nearly all his lyrics are about, but he's still incredible.

How are the new songs sounding? Are they more like Hot Fuss or Sam's Town, or are they totally different again? And what's Brandon's voice like... smooth HF or gravelly ST?

Lucky guy. I really wanted to go but the £60 price really put me off. I think that took the piss; no need to charge that much. Did they play Nightswimming or Sweetness Follows? They're 2 of my favourites.

After 2 listens I'm still unsure - I'm a bit gutted I heard Spiralling first, because that was so different and had a huge wow factor. TLAL just seems really flat and like the old Keane, which I was hoping they'd stay away from. I don't want to be reminded of Let It Slide, I want this album to be unlike anything else they've done. Hopefully it'll grow on me though.

It's a bit different to Spiralling. It sounds a bit more like old Keane than Spiralling does. It's not great quality by the way sorry.
