Sorry for banging on about this. I'm just interested to see what people thought about it. I thought the acting was really good. The final scenes where the prisoners start praying as they leave the cell and enter the gas chambers were incredibly haunting, as was the way that the people from the past and the present were presented as being in the gas chamber together at the same time. What did people make of the man at the end, and his emphatic conclusion that, "God is not good. He is on Hitler's side (or words to that effect)" ?

Mat Whitecross is in Chicago to shoot the music video for Coldplay's 'Lost' from their new album 'Viva La Vida'. It will be based on their live performance at the 25,000-seater United Center in Chicago, shot over 2 nights, on 8 cameras, in a variety of formats. It's Mat's second music video for Coldplay after he recently directed their video for 'Lovers In Japan'. Both videos are due to be released in the autumn. So Lost and Lovers In Japan are definitely the next singles. A bit weird that all the singles are being released in 2008 and that they're not stringing them out to 2009. Actually, not that weird seeing as they're releasing an EP - I guess they'll spend all next year promoting that (maybe?) in the lead up to the next full album... how exciting.

Murray was amazing before the rain came, although Rafa did start working his way back into it towards the end. Tomorrow will be very interesting.

It's all a matter of opinion. It sold a million billion trillion copies, and is still selling today. A lot of people like it, a lot of people don't. I like it. Tweak the tracklisting in a few places, swap a couple of album tracks for a couple of B-Sides and you've got yourself a bloody fantastic album.
