Ghost World - 10/10 Amazing movie, great performances from Scarlett Johansson and Thora Birch. Melancholy, sad, depressing, uplifting, hilarious, thought provoking - I can't recommend it highly enough!

Britain's Missing Top Model
I watched this last night on BBC3 It was really good apart from the few cringeful "I don't think Britain is ready for a disabled model" bulls**t comments. Anyone else see it? http://www.bbc.co.uk/missingmodel/

Chris Martin, Coldplay singer and … Rammstein fan?
Wow, the world's largest independent record store. http://www.amoeba.com/ I bet Guy had some fun in there too! Nice interview that, I can imagine Chris getting excited about John Williams. He seems to be at his happiest when he's drooling over all his favourite bands and artists lol.

Support bands during the u.k. tour
MGMT supported Radiohead so the last thing they'd want to do is support Coldplay :P Although I wouldn't complain. If they go for a similar artist to Santogold for the US tour, then I would LOVE LOVE LOVE M.I.A. to support them in the UK. That would make me ridiculously happy :D

Ever been to Coldplay concert solo?
I saw them in Manchester, December 2005, by myself and it was one of the best nights of my life. Doesn't matter if you go with someone else or if you're on your own, once they come on stage you get totally lost in the music and the experience of being there.

The Euro 2008 Thread
Does anybody know what that poem was that BBC played during their obligatory video montage at the end of their coverage of the final? It was something like "I was born on the seventh of June... I only lived for a month, but how I lived". It was quite beautiful.

Tennis: WIMBLEDON 2008
Ahh Wozniacki! Excellent player, one to keep an eye on for sure. Gutted that she lost. She won the Liverpool International that I went to the other week and played some amazing tennis. Murray's doing really well, I like him a lot. Anyone see Tipsarevic talking about psychology books in his press conference :P

Brian Eno: 'Without me, Coldplay would be been zonked out'
Some of you seem to miss the whole point of what a producer actually f**king does. You say this album would still be amazing WITHOUT Eno... well, how do you know? Do you have any stripped down, studenty, mellow, acoustic, Parachutes-y demos of Viva La Vida or Yes etc? You think all Eno does is help with mixing and all the geeky technical stuff? Without Eno we may well have had X&Y 2.0 - the whole point of a producer is to stretch the band, get their creative juices flowing, push them to do better, get them away from the norm, think outside the box. F**king hell - hating Eno is almost as popular and cool as hating Coldplay.
