I'm slightly worried that Chris said it's a perfect song for the NME's readers. EDIT: Nothing against the people that buy it, I just hate the way they big up certain bands and then slag them off when they're not 'cool' - no integrity at all, which I don't like.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I've never been able to figure out what the lyrics are after the "365 degrees" of the 2nd verse - "Searching your mellow" makes no sense to me, and Chris definitely sings an 'O' at the end of whatever that 's' word is. I just listened and it sounds like: "Sergio Mello and........ (can't figure the last bit out) Sérgio Vieira de Mello was a Brazilian United Nations diplomat who worked for the UN for over 34 years, earning respect and praise around the world for his efforts in the humanitarian and political programs of the UN. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%A9rgio_Vieira_de_Mello That fits in with Coldplay's support of Make Trade Fair etc. PS. Sorry if it actually is "Searching your mellow" - if it is then Chris' diction there is god awful lol.

Any NME experts here?.... Will they actually sell out of this issue totally and so is the pre-order thing necessary, or is it just to make sure they get a million orders. I'd rather buy in the shop as its likely the 7" will get destroyed in the post.

Have you tried telling them to stop being so negative? I understand people can be down and negative sometimes but it is annoying when people go on and on about something. Maybr they need to kepe it to themself?

Thanks for all the advice. Also, how do you know what to write about when there's been a big thing that's happened in your life that kind of overshadows everything else, like death, and it's all you can think about, but you're not a miserable all the time, you try to be optimistic. How do you focus your thoughts? Nobody wants to hear an album full of songs about death, I sure don't. It's such a weird subject that it's hard not to sound cheesy when you write about it, even though you're trying not to be cheesy. Do you just avoid it?
