I just bought this album today, I listened to it a longg time ago when I was in grade six, and man, this is such a great album. If you're a rock fan, then you're nuts if you don't like at least half the songs on this disc. Every song captures the spirit of rock on this. Green Day are awesome, if you are looking for something that rocks hard and fast, but without all the "I hate myself and I want to die" lyrics, then this is right for you.
  2. who's heard the song I Got Shit! It should have been on No Code, one of the weirdest, yet rocking song PJ's done.
  3. Saw 5/10 It's an interesting idea, having the two guys wake up in the same room, not knowing how the hell they got there, and they have to figure shit out. But as soon as we get into the whole back story behind the killer, it turns into just another detective movie in the same line as "Kiss The Girls" "High Crimes" "Along Came A Spider" and "Taking Lives". Sure, the movie has some plot twists but even those are cliche now. The guy that wrote it stars in it. For a first attempt, this movie isn't that bad. The guy knows his stuff, this movie is acceptable because it's the guy's first attempt, I think he'll do good in the future.
  4. This movie looked horrible just from the previews.
  5. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Remake) 5/10 The movie fails to develop character, and have a proper ending. The movie was too short. Though I did like how in this one, there is no investigation into the faimly that has gone nuts, I hate it when they do that in horror movies, when there's a mystery to solve. Otherwise, it was one hell of a climax. The movie does gets ten out of ten on cinematography and production design, it suited the mood of the story perfectly. The visuals were awesome, giving a grainy ugly look to it. Leatherface was awesome! haha
  6. Come on, if any of you were in a rock band and had the chance to make millions of dollars, off an IPod made after you, are you honestly telling me you wouldn't take it? It's not being low, it's making a shitload of money.
  7. Dawn Of The Dead - 8 / 10 This movie was surprisingly good! In the midst of garbage zombie movies (excusing 28 Day Later) like Resident Evil, who thought a remake of Dawn Of The Dead would be worth the $13.50 it costs to see it? Good remake.
  8. Abbey Road is an amazinggg album. Such a good album to go out on.
  9. I did this with Pearl Jam! 001. Are you male or female? = Mankind 002. Describe yourself = Love Boat Captain 003. How do some people feel about you? = "can't find a betterman"! 004. How do you feel about yourself = Nothing As It Seems 005. Describe your boy/girlfriend = Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town (hahahah I'm joking don't worry) 006. Where would you rather be? = Around The Bend 007. Describe what you want to be = Given To Fly 008. Describe how you live = Animal 009. Describe how you love = Deep 010. Share a few words of wisdom = Do The Evolution!
  10. ah! the old Pearl Jam thread! haha It took a little time, but Riot Act is actually a pretty good cd. It's just so damn subtle sounding, if your mind wanders you miss the whole song! And Binaural is pretty good also. "Light Years" is the best. Yea yea, and ALIVE too. haha
  11. Green Day - American Idiot 4.5 / 5

  13. I saw this last night. It's such a funny movie! The best was when Gary goes into the back alley and starts puking for like ten minutes hahaha. And then he passes out in a huge puddle of it. haha "It's going to be 9 11 times 100" "No, you can't possibly mean-" "I'm afraid so, 91 100." haha
  14. I was 16 when it happened.

  18. Right now I'm reading The Dead Zone by Stephen King. Very good.
  19. oh man, this is the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. The part when Shaun and his flatmate push the zombie and it gets impaled on something sticking out of the garden, I was pissing myself laughing ahhahaha, especially becasue they think it's just a drunk girl standing in their garden. And when Shaun has the hangover and he's walking through the destroyed suburbs to get his coke. And then he goes into the store and there's blood all over the fridge, and walking out slips on something on the ground. haha
  20. here's me at camp.

Green Day - Jesus Of Suburbia I'm the son of rage and love the Jesus of Suburbia my bible of none of the above on a steady diet of soda pop and ritalin no one ever died for my sins in hell as far as I can tell least not the ones that I got away with and there's nothing wrong with me this is how I'm supposed to be in the land of make believe they don't believe in me get my television fix sitting on my crucifix my living room is my private womb while the moms and brads are away to fall in love and fall in debt to alcohol and cigarettes and Mary Jane to keep me insane doing someone else's cocaine! at the center of the Earth in the parking lot of the 7-11 where I was taught the motto was just a lie it says home is where the heart is but what a shame cause everyone's heart doesn't beat the same it's beating out of time city of the dead, at the end of another lost highway signs misleading to nowhere city of the dead, lost children with dirty faces today no one really seems to care I read the graffiti on the bathroom stall like the holy scriptures of a shopping mall and all it seemed to confess it didn't say much but it only confirmed that the center of the Earth is the end of the world and I can really care less I don't care, if you don't, I don't care, if you don't, I don't care if you don't care and I don't careeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee everyone's so full of shit, born and raised by hypocrites hearts recycled but never saved, from the cradle to the grave we are the kids of war and peace, from Anaheim to the middle east we are the stories and disciples of, the Jesus of Suburbia land of make belive, and it don't believe in me and I don't care dearly beloved are you listening? I can't remember a word that you were saying are we demented, or am I disturbed? the space that's inbetween insane and insecure oh therapy can you please fill the void? am I retarded or am I just overjoyed? nobody's perfect and I stand accused for lack of a better word and that's my best excuse to live, and not to breathe, is to die, in tragedy to run, to run away, to find, what you believe and I, leave behind, this hurricane of fucking lies I lost my faith to this, this town that don't exist so I run, I run away, to the lights, of masochists and I, leave behind, this hurricane of fucking lies and I, walked this line, a million and one fucking times but not this time I won't feel any shame, I won't apologize when there ain't nowhere you can go running away from pain when you've been victimized tales from another broken home, you're leaving, you're leaving, you're leaving oh you're leaving home!
