  1. *is still a "Cheers" fan*
  2. well, on the bright side, the ticket only cost me 8 bucks... so it's not like i lost a lot of money or anything. but given the choice between staying with one of my best friends when he needs it the most and saying "well, seeya, i have a concert to enjoy," i think i might the right decision. :P
  3. yeah, that's my excuse. :P i also completely missed that last sentence about it only applying to people who loved coldplay first, so everybody might as well ignore what i just wrote.
  4. or annoying. :P
  5. you people either a) are insane or b) have never heard "The Bends" listen to "Fake Plastic Trees" or "High and Dry" and tell me Coldplay didn't take anything from Radiohead. they may not sound EXACTLY alike, but in the grand scheme of things, Coldplay sounds a hell of a lot like "The Bends" era Radiohead. anyhoo, i've always liked Radiohead a lot more than Coldplay, and knew about radiohead for years before i ever heard of Coldplay... it's just that Radiohead fans tend to be huge douchebags a lot of the time, whereas Coldplay fans are super badass and cool. so here i am.
  6. i knew i should have told you about that...
  7. you do have a brain, you were the first person who actually suggested a logical solution. :P
  8. no i sure as hell didn't end up seeing the concert. oh well, as far as i can tell, my bud is just dandy.
  9. damned if i have a clue.
  10. poor ian.
  11. how many threads has sternly started with "IAN!!!!!!!" in the subject line?
  12. yeah, or just tape over the grease spots or wrap a towel or something... there's ways around that. look at it this way: if you got in accident, would you rather have clean clothes and get thrown through the windshield, or have dirty clothes but still be alive?
  13. nope. it is, in fact, the other way around. all right we need to start talking about chicken fights again before this gets out of hand.
  14. awwww isn't that just disgustingly cute.
  15. *shrugs* i guess. i was fine though, and i even stood outside for 20 minutes with no coat on waiting for the ambulance to come...
  16. dagnabbit. i can see it fine. oh well.
  17. you're back up to #5 already, sarah. :P
  18. perform? that sounds fun.
  19. yes sir, yes sir, three bags full.
  20. not enough to detect sarcasm, though, apparently. :P
  21. Well, my friend seems to be fine today... which is good. Still kinda scary...
