  1. Holy freaking crap...that is an absolutely amazing song. I can't stop watching it. I am beyond excited for what else they have for us...
  2. I'm going to Austin! I haven't been to a festival since...um...the late 80s. :o
  3. It's the potassium in bananas that make it a "superfood.". :)I haven't been to a festival in years but I know I'll have a few with me in Austin.
  4. I don't necessarily believe they had anything to "hide," I just think they don't want any leaks before the official releases. I looked at the gig as more of a trial run of their new material in front of the people who know and love them best, friends and family. I'm sure it was a very positive atmosphere. I'm also going to Austin City Limits, coming from California for it, and I couldn't be more excited, both for the old songs and the new songs. It will be a great way to celebrate my birthday weekend :D Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. It's $18 in CA. But it's $12 to see any movie at this theater anyway. I've seen trailers for special events at theatres, like they will show opera from the New York Met, and it's the same price as the Glastonbury show.
  6. The cinema where it's playing near me has 21 theatres and an IMAX, so I have no idea which theatre it will be showing in. There are 4 large "themed" theatres and the others are just normal. Less than a month to wait and seeeee...
  7. I think they will always play Yellow, Clocks, Fix You, and VLV. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I'm going to be at the Irvine Spectrum theatres, in California, at 10pm on June 25. Does anyone want to meet me there? We could meet at The Yard House ( http://www.yardhouse.com/CA/irvine/ ) before for a pint (or yard!) or two before the show! They have a few beers to choose from. https://www.yardhouse.com/files/beer_menu_6.pdf
  9. It's not percussion. It's the sound spray paint cans make. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Or an "A"...for Alien?
  11. I've bought tickets from ebay sellers before and had no trouble. But this guy only has one sale, previously. But with a BIN price of $350, it looks to me like he bought extra tickets with the sole intent of reselling them. Have you looked at stubhub.com, too? They guarantee their ticket sales, so if you're worried about ebay, then you might try there. http://www.stubhub.com/fanprotect-guarantee-legal/
  12. Any idea how many tickets, total, were sold? I'm not a big fan of festivals, but the things I will do for Coldplay. I saw Mumford and Sons (with Old Crow Medicine Show - who were awesome) a few weeks ago, in a GA setting, and it, um, got a bit crowded in the front, and there were only 8000 people! I haven't been to a festival since the late 80s!
  13. Woo hoo. Just found out that my husband can set up a meeting with a client while we are there...therefore, it becomes an expensable "business trip" and we can stay at a nice hotel downtown :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks Denise! I never got to see them after the Tampa fiasco, so I'm excited. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. My birthday is Sunday, the 18th. I would have like to have stayed, but my son and I have the same birthday, so we should be home for his 16th birthday. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. It said it might take a while for the email confirmation to come through. I wrote down my confirmation number just to be sure I had something, because I couldn't get to the receipt "print" page.
  17. YES! Got our single day tickets. Now to get plane tickets and hotel :) Happy Birthday to Meeeeee :D:D:D
  18. The husband has been convinced :). It was easy. I hope it's as easy to get tickets in the morning! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Ohhh...I want to go, and it's dirt cheap to fly to Austin from California...it's my birthday weekend, too. Just need to convince the husband...

  22. Last night, I saw Mumford & Sons with Old Crow Medicine Show and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, as part of their Railroad Revival Tour... So so much fun... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
