yay chris is coming back to california! :smug: so this event is private or public? the other day, a friend told me that some LA radio station was going to give out tickets to go see "coldplay" or somewhere among those lines...

if its someone i know and i can be pretty chill with, then i can stare at them straight in the eye :P, but not so much with the general public my worst problem is where/how to look while walking through the a crowd or down the halls at school, etc. first of all, im near-sighted and i don't wear my glasses unless i'm in class (b/c glasses makes the vision worse and gives me eyeaches), so i can't really recognize people's faces unless their head is at least 2-3 feet away from me. it's happened to me three times already that i called out to a "friend" which turned out to be somebody else. so far my "solution" is just to avoid looking at people, but i know that makes me look rude and stuck up. AAAHHH :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed:

Oooh it's so not fair missing out on the festival again!! :bomb: :bigcry: I really want to go see Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters, Paul Oakenfold, Madonna, Bloc Party, and others. Anyway, anybody out there who knows ppl that went, or is going tomorrow? Oh and did anyone go last year? Coldplay was definitely there that time.

hmmm i guess some or most people, they want to go back to the times when the band was in their beginnings because it's somethign you have all to yourselves. example? you find a treasure that no one else knows about. the treasure looks so beautiful to you and you feel a special attachment to it. but once everyone finds out about it, they either want it too or they'll ruin it for you by pointing out flaws.

clearly stating the obvious here :embarassed: but OH WELL: the guys are wonderful, talented musicians and if they want to grow as artists they must broaden their borders. the piano features have done wonders, but it would be kind of sad if they just stayed with it (the same ol' songs will keep pouring out and then soon it'll get boring as they're starting to run out of ideas and they'll definitely be wasting whatever they had). they need to succeed to greater heights with their work because they definitely have the potential. besides, it did took some time for the X&Y album to grow on people, and it'll be the same with the next album. did anyone mention the possibility of maybe at least a few more new piano song in the future, just for the fans and good ol' times? a lot of people make it as if they're NEVER gonna use the piano again. :confused: i love them so much for the continuing aspirations, creativity, genuinity, and so forth. i really don't want them to be stuck, and if they want to be the band that took over the world with their music, then their music needs to reach other styles. plus, other great bands have reached success w/o any dependence on piano

a few weeks ago, in my physics class, we were discussing about waves and then we get to the topic of speed of sound...BAM and I'm off in that little world of music inside my head i love science. i just finally realized how much this band is math/science-related

my first name is nice ("fighter" in gaelic). however it's sounds so outdated. BUT...my middle name got screwed up ("good to your parents" in vietnamese!) :thinking:

Politik @ the Grammy's was amazing. That performance definitely holds dear to my heart when it comes to my respect for Coldplay :) Same! Johnny's guitar solo in that performance was KILLER! :D

YES!! I don't like Harry Potter movies either. Actually, I'm not even a fan of the story. :P

cool thread =) a dream i had....the guys and i had a session where they taught me how to play guitar and write music chords. it turned out to be some wicked dream, because one of the chords i remembered in my dream, i used it on my music theory test at school, and i scored big points x)

I quickly learned about the news last night (from this celebrity baby blog, and apparently my thread I tried to post didn't go through...grr)... But anyway, much congrats to the two. Moses already sounds TOO CUTE =)
