let's stop the speculation before i explode :bomb: :P i would think that if matt whitecross had anything to do with filming something about the project, it would be for the greater purpose of this documentary, which we won't see for at LEAST a year. i don't think they'd make us wait THAT long for us to get our surprise. besides "preparing to shoot" can mean any frame of time. just because that was posted somewhere on january 19 doesn't mean he started shooting the 20th :P. the postcards were delivered the 28th, yes, but who knows if he's even started shooting yet? it's just too much uncertainty. however, this would fit, with the hints debs has given and with why it's taking so long. i need to shut up. this stuff makes me go off way too far into dreamland.

i'm mourning the loss of guy's hair. from the picture roadie 42 posted not too long ago when the guys were in the studio with eno, i thought it looked great then. and he went and chopped it all off :sad:. he has such beautiful hair! why lose it? i like that will's is a bit longer, though :wacky:

well, whatever it is, i think it's already done. i think video, pictures, note, almost anything was probably done on the day of delivery, so now it's just being processed or whatever and put in the queue to be posted on the official site. i think it's completely out of debs's hands...i just assume its been taking so long for technical reasons.

this is still my favorite gwyneth-dress look. shoes too--usually i find her shoe choice a bit over the top and obnoxious, but besides these being extremely tall, i think they're really nice and classic. if she just took off the tights at the grammys, that dress would have made a close second in my book :P [/random gwyneth thought]

MTV2 doesn't vary at all? so MTV2 is in english everywhere, and the whole world gets the mindless american shows? i would have hoped that you all at least had your own, somewhat-less-mindless shows :P. grr. nothing is listed yet for that date on MTV2 either :sad:. however, i do get MTVU here at college, so that's one more chance for me to watch the concert. man, i hope it's on--that would make my friday night so awesome, so much better than just ignoring the drunks with no distractions like usual!

i found where to check it on the MTV site, but nothing is listed for friday, feb 27 yet :angry:. i guess i'll just keep stalking until the date gets closer and they list a schedule.

i mean the vast majority of american teenagers. of course we all would want to see it :P. but i figure lots of kids would get a bit annoyed and would rather see lil wayne or something, so i just wonder if MTV USA will think it's financially worth it to air this on the basic two MTV channels here in america. MTV and MTV2 vary from country to country, i'm pretty sure, so we'll have to see, but i wish there was a list somewhere of all the different channels it would be on, since something tells me it's not going to be on here :angry:

any other american know if it's going to be aired on the normal MTV/MTV2 channels for sure yet? i get the fancy ones at home, but not here :angry:. it would be a real shame if they didn't put it on at least one of those two regular cable channels, but i don't think coldplay is the type of thing that most american teenagers want to see on their TV :dozey:

OMG. ok, sorry for the double post, but i just wet myself laughing. i just checked my (non-uni) email for the first time today, and i had two new emails, both from my elderly (late 60's) aunts, both pertaining to 60 minutes/the grammys. the first older aunt: "chris martin is a lovely man...i didn't know he was married to gwinith paltrow [sic], but he is REMARKABLE, as was their performance at the grammys, which i just had to watch after seeing their segment on 60 minutes." the second, slightly younger aunt: "I watched the Grammy Awards last night and saw Coldplay. That lead singer sure is a hot dude. Did you notice when he was going up all those stairs, he only took two steps. Love the way he moves. If I was 45 years younger I would be on their website. When he spoke he even seemed like a real nice guy. On accepting an award another band member said thank you to everyone on Coldplay's web site, I think he was talking to you." i died laughing at the "that lead singer sure is one hot dude" and "love the way he moves," but jeez, she doesn't even know about coldplaying, nor that i'm on it, and she was STILL somewhat picking up on the fact that will might have meant to say "coldplayING.com" rather than just "coldplay.com" :freak:. they also both loved the song(s), BTW. anyway, those emails just made my day. i think i bust some vital organ laughing. maybe i shouldn't copy and paste emails without the sender's consent, but that was too priceless not to share.

the second after the interview was over last night, my phone rang and it was my mom, gushing over how cute chris is :wacky:. she always makes fun of my obsession (and i, in turn, make fun of her eddie vedder obsession), but when it comes down to it, she thinks he's lovely too :P

if i ever meet lainey in real life, i'm going to knife a bitch. not because i'm a huge gwyneth groupie (even though i do love her), but because lainey's a total PSYCHOBITCH. no one should read THAT much into anything.

i thought radiohead was completely epic :uhoh: though yes, they all should have been up there. and i thought it was hilarious at the end of the show when they were giving out album of the year and they showed radiohead in the crowd and johnny actually covered his entire face with his hand :P

i completely agree. as much as i would have lapped up a shot of chris cowering in his seat when gwyneth was talking or whatever, for their sake i'm glad they didn't do it. i think they're a bit over-secretive about their relationship, but if it works for them, i'm no one to say it should be any different. for selfish reasons, i'd like the world to be splattered with cute pictures of them together, because i like both of them and both of their work. but that's not fair to them at all, and that's what matters. i'm glad that this wasn't a "OOH LOOK AT THE COUPLE" grammys, but i'm glad gwyneth gave the wink :wacky:. i bet chris hated it, but i think it was cute, and it also perhaps subtly gave a hint to the media that they're fine as a couple, without them exploiting themselves and breaking their agreement.
