heh, i'm the exact opposite to you two most of the time :P. i love small towns and small cities, even. i start to go a bit crazy in cities (london is the exception). i ordered my pair of boots that i posted a few pages back, so they should be here within the week :D. i noticed the other day that two of the things i wanted most fashion-wise were riding boots and a trenchcoat. once the boots get here, i will actually now own the equivilent to everything that gwyneth used in this GOOP fashion thingy :lol: : i do really wonder when i started liking nicer clothes. until like, 9 months ago all i really cared to own were jeans and tshirts :P

i have to shower every day at night, right before i go to bed. i can't do it any other way. it's a thing. even when i get home from concerts at three in the morning or something, i HAVE to shower before i go to bed. i can't get into my bed feeling dirty.

ender's game and both of the series that come off that book are some of my favorite books in the world. i have to say that most of the stuff i read comes from british authors, but fahrenheit 451 is a good suggestion. catch-22 is funny, but sometimes its really confusing because there's really no point to it. i got lost trying to look for the point.

i've noticed that too. but really, i don't think it means anything. sometimes you just forget, other times you don't feel like it. gwyneth attending the concerts still and being sooo into it and seemingly crying during "fix you" makes me not worry too much :wink:

i was waiting outside the uni library today to meet up with my group for a film project, and a girl that i vaguely know walked by with one of the VIVA tote bags that they sell at the concerts! i wanted to reach out and be like "ahhh COLDPLAY FAN!" :P

i thought we would bust the record on the VH day and the VLVOD leak day. i'm still surprised we didn't. i have no idea what the muffins is so special about NOW that we'd break the record, but i still think its for the reasons i listed above.

does it have to be really "literary"? because orson scott card is an absolutely AMAZING american scifi writer who uses ideas like the ones in 1984. the great gastby is AMAZING, as is a tree grows in brooklyn. douglas adams is a great writer too, but those books are more funny and entertaining rather than something you'd really read for school, i think. but like nick said: dreams from my father by barack obama! it's not political; it's a memoir.

i think it's a combination of a) people (mostly guests) checking into the live section to see what people are saying about the recent gigs that those guests were probably at, b) the LIJ video c) prospekt's march getting closer and closer
