  1. Turkey and Swiss on Rye. they go together.:P (sorry - I couldn't help it!) Torture - well, yes, the whole thing stinks - we've used places in Egypt for some of the torturing as well, and I'm not surprised the United Kingdom offered "assistance" in the whole process, but what a sad chapter, nay a disgraceful chapter in the world's history.. Turkey should do what Turkey wants. Going it alone isn't always the wisest thing however; better perhaps to make the EU the best it can be, while maintaining the integrity of individual member states. As a counter force in the world for American aggression it seems wise, as well as an easier way to facilitate trade and commerce, provided some protections remain to safeguard national treasures, like Parmesan from Parma, & Champagne from France, and Fish and Chips from England.;)
  2. What is thought?
  3. Mr. Bean is dangerous! Don't let him loose in your country!! IIAAAEEEE!!:stunned: Mona-lisa where art though?
  4. Color discrimination must end!:P (and for those of you ignore my posts because of color issues, you really are a sad lot! sheesh, how dumb to be that picky!!)
  5. Well, it's only money! But I could give it to the homeless shelter, so they could enlarge.. Hmm.. sure - it's easier to kiss a frog for a million, than work a lifetime for enough to give to the needy.. For a million dollars, would you wrestle a pig in mud??:P
  6. Yes, that's part of our secret plan to break up the centralized control of the economy.. I've considered it Jay, although I'm not sure it would ever amount to more than a percent or two of the total population. Perhaps in time though, this could change. Anything to beak up massive blocks of power would help keep us freer, that's for sure!! I've thought of it also as a better way forward for people in the Middle East as well - they have ample solar for energy production, and lots of sand - they could be producing a great deal of the solar cells for the global demand, and providing a greater increase in income to citizens there.. It would be quite nice to see them use solar to pump and desalinate much more sea water, irrigate large areas, and be net food exporters, all with systems built using solar power - a great way to ensure long term economic stability, and reduce the threat of extremist violence through much improved standards of living..
  7. It's not the amount of posting that matters, but the quality of thy messages..:P Let's see; if we use the the right algorithm, and look at the yearly fluctuations in posts, based on the releases, tour dates, and weather influences... we could possibly come up with an accurate prediction! But then again, Nah!:laugh3:
  8. :sleeping:Hello Lore! What happened - I'm not following the bra issue.. Was there some wardrobe malfunction??:P
  9. What was the question again??:laugh3: Oh, what influences has Coldplay had on me?? .. Um, shock, surprise, pride, astonishment, amazement, ...oh wait, those are effects!:P AAHH, a realization that we are not alone in our quest to change the world, and reach the subconscious within the listening world towards global human & environmental issues through a reawakening of our introspective intuitive side (of the mind) within all of us, including myself..
  10. Buy it and stimulate the economy!:P (Plus, it's better quality on DVD I think anyways..)
  11. Where in good heavens did they come up with a name like "U2" anyhow??;)
  12. Leslie Feist stopped here once, wearing that sparkly blue dress of hers.. I did offer her some tomatoes, and she seemed pleased with them!:P Anyhow, glad she's keeping on top of the music scene, although I'm curious to hear how her team-up with Wilco sounds..
  13. In 500 years' time, will we be discussing U2 like Shakespeare is discussed today?
  14. How's that? Most of the world is populated by Namibians, and then there's a splendid 12 other genetic populations at least that share the continent of Africa. It's that simple - wherever you go, there you are!
  15. Silicon solar cell payback here:Solar Power
  16. There are no white people (except maybe those space aliens, with the big green eyes!):P Seriously, we're all Africans basically..
  17. What the heck was I thinking??:laugh3: After all that, it's all been pushed right off the stack! Krypton Difluoride KrF2; given an a "gift"? But this stuff is about as stable as snap-n-pops! I wonder sometimes...
