this semester it's thursdays! fully look forward to thursdays every week as i only have uni mon-thurs so that thurs afternoon i head back up the coast and relax, get away from the city, get together with family... yep i fully take advantage of my extra long weekend :cool:

they fully ARE coming to Australia! :dance: part of a music fest it seems but they won't be playing anything from their LPs, but please, that's not going to stop me :D i feel crazy enough to head south for a day just to catch it! :cool: ... which... i definitley can see happening! yaaaaaaaaaaaay!

seems everyone is having a pretty boring day...so i shall break the trend lol today is ok, i'm spending all weekend on the coast which is wonderful. but i have to do my report which i'm hoping to have done by tomorrow afternoon. until then, i'll still be sitting right here in my room writing about this bloody Brisbane River, absolutely riveting stuff :ahwell:

in a sense i'm pretty unique with my friendships from school. i went to an international school which i've most definitely mentioned here before. so everyone i was with came from overseas as weird as this may sound, school was our only time to socialise and still learn, but everyone who went to my school, and i do mean everyone, all wish we could re-live those high school days. they were that great. seriously some amazing memories. once school ended, majority of my friends dispersed and we all went our own ways, but because we've all basically been friends since primary school, and for some just since middle school, we have maintained a level of closeness. i love that now and then, we can all get together and just talk about things we've been up to, what everyone is studying, and every so often reminise over high school moments lol it's quite lovely. just recently a friend of mine who i hadn't seen since he left in yr.11 which was some 4 years ago, visited australia. when he came here a whole bunch of us gathered and just hung out. it was wonderful. we all just picked up from where we left. everyone has changed in a sense, but we're all pretty much the same people we were back in high school. only difference now is we can't see each other everyday and instead of going to school, we all go to uni. anyway i'm totally rambling on, as i do lol so yeah my old friends are the best kind of friends, and although i've moved on and made new friends, there really is no comparison to those people back in school who i truly do see as my extended family :D

wow Nadia, you've really done your homework, kept up to date and all, unlike me and my neglecting ways lol anyway i still need to hear ttotl live. i have been thinking about it quite obsessively lol indeed i need help with my little mew fascination, came close to calling it an addiction lol, but it's something i must hear! :stunned: hope to greet this forum more often than my previous attempts lol catch you wonderful frengers soon :D

it is beautiful indeed. i was just saying how i've rediscovered starlfur all over again, it's quite powerful! btw Will, Josh, i think i am crazy enough to drop by melbourne for a day to catch the band. it time allowed that is, then i'll definitely be there :nice: :smiley:

still on topic, i did end up getting the Homer Simpson banner, for much less that i expected considering Maggie sold for $200+ Here it is, too bloody big to fit up on my wall properly but it's still great :dance: This is it layed on my queens size bed (to give you an idea)

watched no direction home again on abc last night. musical talent is written all over him! something i must say. i was watching it a couple weeks ago and i told my friend 'just watching no direction home' and he goes 'is that a movie?' then i reply 'no, you know, bob dylan' and now prepare yourself, he said 'who is that?' oh my goodness, i thought he was kidding! couldn't believe my ears! usually i would've immediately started informing him on what he's been missing but i didn't know where to start lol just sat there in disbelief! :stunned: end/

coldplay - white shadows

as usual i am still very happy. pleased with everything. very much thinking along white shadows "everything i ever wanted in a permanent state" :D:):nice: to sort of sum up things. i set up my semester timetable so that i'm only at uni mon-thur then drive up from the city to the sunny coast to spend my extra long weekend. it's working out amazingly well. that and getting in touch with friends again and more importantly keeping in touch - life is wonderful! hugs for all coldplayers today!

oh yeah, definitely gets you moving and is quite cheery but it's played here and on the tv like it's the only video they can find lol too much of anything isn't good.

mika is one of those bands you don't like to like but are forced to due to excessive radio playing. can't get love today out of my head now, gosh. he is ok, but aus radio needs to give it a rest! :shifty:

i totally agree with these ratings! loved the lake house despite it being a little slow to start off with, but otherwise such a beautiful story indeed. and esotsm is an amazing film, enought said! :nice:

no worries Soufiane :) i've only started using it for like a couple weeks now ^ some much longer lol but i'm glad others are giving it a look.
