How do people have so many posts?
There are numerous reasons as to why a person's count may seen large. First look at the join date to put things into perspective, though if that still seems sus it could be because: Spam for spam sake joined during an album release or tour (this was the case with me which left me posting like mad about the concert) spam - double posts newbies that are intially coldplay crazy - this includes individual band members - then newbies that become regulars who come here to get the latest goss and then contribute their own findings = fanaticism lol arguements - always generates lots of posts and also heaps of threads games section alias day wom section spammers who come here from other sites and start up arguments which we fans feel compelled to reply toWell ok, this isn't exactly the best thought out list possible lol but for the most part it's true. Another possibility could be that they are simply through and through, coldplay fans who want to know everything and anything about the band and who genuinely have something meaningful to mention about the band, their music...again, it is a possibility!

Folk Music
Folk music is ok. I only started listening to it when I did a report of Bob Dylan and Joan Baez and had to listen to a bunch of their albums. I don't think anyone can knock a good piece of folk music, especially since the lyrics can so powerful.

Article: 10 Worst Ways To Behave At Concerts
:laugh3: That's hilarious, mainly because I have seen just about all of those happen. Nice one Dave.

How Many Times Have You Listened to Violet Hill?
Only 25 times. And each and every time it's continued to grow on me. My first impressions were so so, I honestly wasn't impressed, but like anything new, after a few times... I'm now loving Violet Hill. Keep the music playing guys!

Coldplayers On YouTube??
I am briefly in this one, it's at my sister's wedding June last year. She is a huge fan of Beyonce and well the video speaks for itself :) It was a lovely day too. I'm the one that you see close up when the camera turns away from the action lol. Anyway, it's the only footage I have on there...and I didn't even put it up lol.

Did you make an introduction thread?
How things have changed ;) I'm sure I didn't. But I did have an introduction post somewhere. Soon after I started posting in the "Answer the question above you" thread, which was very likely my 2nd post ever made here lol.

This is mine. I posted the pic a few weeks ago. I shot it at Santa Monica just right of the pier...The sunset was amazing, purely naturalistic and spectacular!

Prefab Sprout
I quite like Prefab Sprout. Got into them through Mew believe it or not who are huge fans. I actually asked you Dave for the Steve McQueen album last year which I was very thankful. I haven't heard their stuff in a long time though, in fact, I've completely gone walkabout with a lot of my music sadly, heck I rarely come here that often lol. Steve McQueen - great album

Chris Martin & Gwyneth Paltrow attend Jay-Z & Beyonce's 'Wedding'
Hm, well instead of letting the paparazzi issue take over this thread... Great news about the wedding. It was only a matter of time before they tied the knot. Beyonce and Jay-Z have been together for ages, and it's no surprise they wanted the affair to be private with only family and close friends involved. I'm happy for them both, happier that Gwyneth and Chris were able to attend too, minus a few mishaps in getting there. Paparazzi are always going to be a problem, no point giving them more attention as it's fueling a pointless argument. Congrats to the new happy couple!

Pregnant MAN on Oprah

Rate the latest movie you've seen
Vantage Point 9/10 Terrific movie. A good 'ol car chase made the movie exciting and something to remember. Great cast and very intricate storyline. A definite recommendation to all!

CHOCOLATE!
Thanks! If there's one thing apart from Coldplay that could lure me back here, it's chocolate lol. And with it being Easter and all...well, another treat wouldn't hurt :D enjoy:

Show us your art!
^ wow! the last one really caught my attention. great work  Here are a couple taken while I visited my partner in the States. Apparently I am a 'long-walks along the beach' kinda person lol. What is shocking about how these photos turned out is that they were taken with an ordinary digital camera. Figures!

:So how is everyone today?:
I don't think I'll ever really leave, though as I've already shown, I will cut down how much time I spend here. I mean compared to when I first joined, and we're talking a good 100 posts the first day or two :wacky: That was fun but even I'll admit was quite ridiculous, true newbie behavior (my excuse was that I'd just come back from their concert) :laugh3: Ah, so um yes, to conclude and get back on track - I won't ever completely leave.

Whats gunna happen to this place once LP4 comes out?
Sounds accurate enough, though I wouldn't like to look at it that way as it somewhat comes across very routine despite the way the 'noise' is created being very unique - as in, each album release has been special in it's own way. I'm quite looking forward to the rush of people into this forum again, afterall, I was once part of the rush. The period between the TLT and the recent revelations about LP4 was extremely quiet with even The Lounge dwindling down to a handful of regulars. The Latin Tour brought some new South American fans between the 'quiet period' but that was about it. I even found myself coming here once a month or so, instead of getting my daily dose. The more people who visit here, temporarily or on a permanent basis, will always be a good thing, generate some noise for the band and let others who haven't yet been touched by their music, to take more of an interest. The fact that LP4 is on it's way is just an added bonus that will have fans pouring in, and I for one am excited to see it happening already

THE REAL TITLE: "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends"
Woke up this morning with the album title on my mind lol it's started all over again, not that it went away mind you, but the coldplaying craze is starting to rumble again - about bloody time too! Ah can't wait for hear their tracks, can't wait! But because I have to... ...I will:stunned:

What are you reading right now?
I just finished Catcher in the Rye and well, I'm sure it's great to dissect in terms of underlining meanings, and the various themes, but as a leisurely read, I wasn't too impressed. It was ok to put it boldly, but not something I'd read again for a while. It did have me laughing out loud at times, so much credit to J.D. Salinger for that, but as a whole, it was just ok.

Sigur Rós
Agreed. Heima gives me goosebumps everynow and then, particularly when listening to Starálfur, which has stepped up as one of my favorite SR songs to date. Gong and Hoppípolla will always remain my top 2 favorites, followed by Glósóli which all just take my breath away. Can't wait if/when the band visit down under again!
