    I like the idea :)
  2. X&Y and Twisted Logic are two of my favourites on the album!:D
  3. Agreed. I was watching Live Leak on Saturday and the band looked extremely happy about all the tracks on the album. It's one of my favourite albums, particularly musically. I also like getting out my electric guitar and just playing all the songs over and over 'cos Jonny's guitar parts are so great!:smug:
  4. I feel like buying a Ukulele!:)

  6. That was amazing night i remember tuning into BBC Radio online and almost missed it, then I rushed to grab it off Coldplay.com however by then it had crashed, 30 minutes later i had the track and for the rest of the night i played it non stop
  7. It is standard tuning, however he uses different chords live
  8. Hi Thalia, I really like the art work you've created! You got talent! If you have time could you do me the honors of making a wallpaper with jonny on his own playing a guitar with some cool idea incorporated? PLEASE! Thanks in advanced!
  9. Your local guitar store would be able to help you out with this one.
  10. Nice podcast yet again! Haha, a rubber boat and a book on how to make oars out of sand, nice call! :P Who is the funniest comedian?
  11. Haha, you're as impatient about his next podcast as i am...Just Kidding!:laugh3: Must say, I am actually looking forward to it.
  12. Thanks for the mention dude and nice podcast!!:) Next question, if you were stuck on a desert island and could take one item with you what would it be?
  13. 1. Viva La Vida sounds like some sorta pitch shift/harmonizer most probably controlled by his Eventide Rack Unit 2. Fix You I have worked out totally...if you listen to this tour's live version its like two short delays which seem to give a ping pong sound. As i say i'm not exactly sure, can anyone help out?
  14. Hey, Chris just gave me the link to your podcast, you're extremely funny! Oh and Hi i'm Jared, I don't know if this has been asked before, but..."do you play any musical instruments?" edit. Myspace showed me you can play musical instruments...another question "what is the scariest experience in your life?"
  15. Yep, Radiohead used it here and there on In Rainbows
  16. Favourites for Lead Guitar would be :Yellow, Shiver, Talk, No More Keeping My Feet on the Ground and Bigger Stronger, Spies
  17. No problem, its one of those gadget that can really give you some cool sounds for the guitar. It takes a little to get used to using but never the less producing amazing sounds!
  18. This device is called an Ebow and thats whats creating the sound. I got one off ebay for about $120 AU so they're well worth getting. It's the same device used in See You Soon, Spies and Swallowed In the Sea, woah thats weird 3 different titles with S's. So yeah, basically it generates endless gain and i'm guessing he's holding it over a certain section of the Humbuckers to generate the screech.
  19. ahkey...i was just looking at his pedalboard the other day and it sorta made sense because in a number of live shots he's moving his foot back and forth
  20. Thankyou :)mYeah, he uses a Volume Pedal and Expression pedal right?
  21. Two songs I'm obsessed with from Muse this week: Bliss & Sunburn
  22. Sorry I read the original post as being both acoustics and lead guitars. Yeah he seems to use Gibson guitars these days. I actually really like the sound the of the Jazzmasters.
  23. a lead tab the song would probably do all of us good :D
