I totally get you! I hate it when people always see this rivalry between them, I just see them like best friends, with one of them being the overly optimistic one and the other the perfect opposite, being a broody depressed brilliant asshole ahah. Even in the comics they have the most fun when they're doing missions together and having stupid inside jokes :cheesy: And now this movie comes along and let's them fight. Oh wow, fighting Superman, either way you have Kryptonite or you're fucked, even as Batman. I really hope the movie won't turn out 100% Frank Miller and they become friends in the end after all. Otherwise I'm sure I'm not gonne like it very much...

HOly shit I love this post and I totally get you. And I also understand your point. I feel the In my Place performance from the VIVA era really feels bigger because Chris is involving everyone into the chorus while still keeping his focus on everyone by standing and not letting "loose" so to say by jumping and going crazy in his own little world. And as you said, everyone can jump and when you jump you generally don't care what's happening around you lol. But when he makes these gestures, wide arms, pointy fingers or when he's embracing the crowd, it feels bigger because it's more personal, more "including all of us". I think it's even more intimate, even though he just friggn stands there waving his arms around :wacky: And the X&Y video is a perfect example, it almost feels like a grand theatrical performance where Chris tries to convey the music via body language. Very interesting to analyse!

I went shopping witth my mom 2 times on two different days and everytime we entered a shop Coldplay was playing (Magic/Every Teardrop). Same thing with my dad when I went into a shop with him 2 days ago, Paradise started playing LMAO.
