I heard the album enough to say my opinion... Life in technicolor: 8 - good intro, but I'd like with lyrics... Cemeteries of London: 9,5 - amazing guitar and chorus and outro!!! Lost!: 9,5 - dreaming sound and loving lyrics! 42: 10 - original song and very touching lyrics it's at first nostalgic and then so catchy... their best song ever!!! Lovers in Japan: 9 - too many instuments on it, but it'll perfect as single! Reign of love: 7 - sweet but not powerful like the other ones Yes: 9 - intriguing violin and voice Chinese sleep chant: 9,5 - ipnotic and magic track! Viva la vida: 10 - still brilliant since first listen Violet hill: 8 - not the best but still great Strawberry swing: 10 - this song is perfect in everthing! just makes me smile Death and all his friends: 9,5 - with the chorus it's much better than I thought The escapist: 7 - nice track

yesterday I separated the tracks with audacity but then it wasn't necessary cause I'm hearing the whole album from the beginning to the end without skipping anything... anyway, to separate tracks you also have to download a .dll file called lame_enc.dll, that is necessary to convert the audacity file in mp3. it's not with the program download but you should find it on the internet easily

I downloaded that too but it's just made by a fan cause it's escapist and LIT (crappy version) together in one file

those haven't leaked yet...for what I know. but I'm sure viva la vida is a bit different cause we know a 'single edit'

my least favorites are reign of love and escapist, but they're ok anyway I don't skip them... the other ones are excellent! it's gonna be one of my favorite albums, if not my favorite album ever

I think there are too many instruments on the album version... it's great and if it's the next single, it's a good choice but effectively the acoustic version is easier to listen

it's magic... I can't decide which is the best but I love this one in a special way

the version of LiT we had must be very similar or just the same thing, cause the intro is like escapist and the after it finishes we hear effectively the beginning of CoL... OMG, who expected it really happened today? (apart the other thread)

the male chorus on DAAHF is the best piece of music ever heard from coldplay!!!!!!! escapist is actually only the atmospheric introduction of LiT, with lyrics...

no... sorry :D Viva la vida is the best then Clocks and scientist remain superlative but I'm liking Viva from the beginning to the end...

someone found on the internet that mat whitecross shot a music promo for this song... but the band hasn't said anything yet

we shouldn't compare it to other 3rd singles cause it's not properly the 3rd and it's just another album... the common idea imo is that the next single has to be different from the previous ones... I mean, after a rock song like violet hill and after a brilliant song like viva la vida, it's good to have a sweet song like lovers in japan... so they can better show the different styles in the album...

I'm surprised, too, but I'm happy about the choice. we don't know how the album version sounds, but I think it'll be very catchy and emotional... actually I was very confident about 42, but maybe it will be a single at the end of year...
