woo my first post in the tech section have used XP since 2003 and absolutely loved it, it's a brilliant OS and still the best thing microsoft have ever done. but after almost 7yrs it felt a little outdated so i've moved on i now use Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6. i hate the look and feel of vista and 7, it just looks quite cheesy and unprofessional. on the other hand snow leopard is just brilliant. i used mac's throughout primary school so it had been almost 8yrs since i had even touched a mac but i noticed that apple had made only simple smart changes to their OS, even after all that time i found it very easy to adapt to my new OS but i guess my high computer literacy helps also.

Absolutely love that top 20. brilliant selection of songs. my only issue would be with Brothersport, top notch song but personally dont feel that its top 20 of the decade quality. great to see some white stripes love too.

yeah ive never seen that list before but i've always felt that There There should of been much earlier in the album. but i dont agree with the gloaming being track 2. to me its very much a mid-album track.

Lisa Mitchell's album Wonder has won the AMP (Austrailan Music Prize) awarding her with $30 000. It is an unlikely choice. But it was my pick for australian album of 2009 and i am very proud to say i bought the special edition of this record the day it was released. For those who are a little confused. The AMP is the aussie equivalent of the Mercury.

I've got the feeling that most people have already made up their minds on this album without even having heard the album. Once you get into that frame of mind about anything it's unlikely you will change your stance. Let's give it a fair chance and we might be pleasantly surprised.

how do import a FLAC file when itunes doesnt support FLAC? i tried a program called Fluke which is a kind of an itunes add on which allows you go play FLAC on itunes. but that didnt work either.

Arcade Fire will headline this year's Oxegen Festival in Ireland between July 8 and 11. WWOOOOO (despite the fact that Dublin is 20 000km from sydney lol)

Promo show at Sydney's Metro Theatre on April 6. Won't be going but sounds interesting. It will be the band's 3rd visit to Australia in 18 months.
