double post. i really like this album cos its not a blatant effort to break america, its just smart rock with some excellent pop songs thrown in.

just to put the issue to rest. the only person who ever claimed the webcast was a "live gig" was TGE ( i would of said the same thing) the arctic monkeys only said that it was a "web transmission". live music doesnt have to be in real time.

i always thought it was matt by a country mile but after listening to those demos i have new found respect for chris. technically i would lean towards matt but i prefer listening to chris play.

UPDATE 49,365,203 views thats up from 49,324,019 24hrs ago. An increase of 41 184 views. At this rate it will pass 50 million in about 15 days. Less if someone else claims to have written Viva La Vida.

i absolutely LOVE the stones but at the moment i'm satisfied with just having Forty Licks. one of the best most solid compilations you will ever hear. 40 brilliant rock songs i cant think of any other band in history who could put together a compilation like that.

Please Please Me and A Hard Day's Night - The Beatles and last week it was Led Zeppelin I and II. you would of thought with all that incredible talent they could of come up with an album title or two.

from what i've heard so far. i like this album more than Favourite Worst Nightmare. it has more variety, the music is more intelligent and the lyrics are much much stronger and coherent. i'm not going make a final judgement on this record until i buy and listen to the physical copy.

i'm not sure about everyone else. but when i search Viva La Vida the first video that comes up is the one on ColdplayTV not the one on the parlophone channel, that video doesnt come up for a couple of pages. how does that work?

They were talking this morning on tv about the power of youtube and out of curiousity i thought i would check out the most viewed videos of all time around the world. The top 20 is dominated by hip hop/rnb/pop songs like rihanna and katy perry. Evolution of Dance is at no.1 with 123million views then Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne with 122 million but alot of people claim her fans somehow managed to manipulate the system. The highest 'rock' song is Viva La Vida by Coldplay which when i was watching had 49,324,019 views and there were a couple of other people watching at the same time as me. I just thought we here at Cping should celebrate the video crossing 50 million! If we try really hard we could even jump Chris Brown's Forever video which is about 800 000 views ahead. but thats gonna be tough because of the whole wedding video thing going around.
