Radiohead
and if it's a list of songs, smells like teen spirit must be no.1 or at least near the top.

its stumps!!! finally thats over.

Festivus 2010
i think the klaxons and mgmt let me down for the same reasons. both produced incredible indie anthems on their debuts and i expected more of them on their follow ups. instead the new albums felt a little drawn out with the odd great moment. im not saying they were bad albums, i enjoyed both but they both paled in comparisons to their debut efforts.

i still havent received my laneway tickets in the mail!! have any of you guys? also im on a self imposed 2 month new CD ban because i need to save up for a new car. so its back to torrents *cough* i mean itunes for me.

Radiohead
bands that have had many great albums/songs are always at a disadvantage in such lists as their fans will be divided on which album/song to go for. i'm actually pretty impressed by that list. i agree with the no.1 and the only albums i dont think belongs there is black holes by muse and only by the night by KoL.

Festivus 2010
i thought interpol's 4th album wasnt too bad but it is easily their worst.
-
The John Butler Trio
shame their latest album was a little dull. but otherwise one of australia's finest bands.

Festivus 2010
i've spent much of my christmas day watching episodes of Seinfeld and i saw that episode about Festivus, which is a way of celebrating the holidays without the usual gift giving and family commitments that come with it. Part of the celebration includes the "Airing of Grievances" where you tell everyone things and people who have disappointed you that year. i thought we could celebrate the day (which is typically december 23) world of music style by listing the bands/artists who have let you down this year. now i hate to create any negativity around here but i thought this would be interesting. maybe their new album wasnt as good as you expected or you saw them live and they were crap or they collaborated with an artist you really hate. here is my list Klaxons John Butler Trio Birds of Tokyo The Dead Weather MGMT

add to that their first big hits like under the bridge and give it away. but live on stage is where RHCP is at their best.

this place is pretty quiet considering we're only 4 days away from the deadline. hows everyone going with their lists?

The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
that cant be good. we have a bad record at the end of seasons, we dont need things to be complicated by having to play the defending champions twice in the final month.

Pearl Jam
yeah he really really loves it down here, mostly for the surfing culture. but i dont see why he needed to make the ticket prices so high. it's actually just as expensive as the last PJ tour down here and far far more expensive than previous PJ tours.

Music Lists 2010 (check first post for lists)
P4K and FL now added so no more lists. the biggest surprise for me is that High Violet has featured on less than half of these lists. and i cant remember the last time a commercially successful, chart topping "pop artist" has done as well as Kanye has on these lists. and LOL @ all the lists with Mumford on them.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
i saw them on 22nd Jan and 9th Dec. first show was them headlining a massive festival and my best memory from that show (aside from being crushed by 50 000 people) was after the crowd was shouting "water water water" in between songs so during Unnatural Selection matt screamed "GIVE THESE PEOPLE SOME FUCKING WATTTTERRRR!" video of it below [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KixfCiBIVpA]YouTube - Muse - Unnatural Selection (Sydney BDO 2010)[/ame] 2nd time was an indoor arena show. where i finally got hear Citizen and Stockholm!!!!
